I have been reading Little Critter books by Mercer Mayer to my children for over 40 years and now am reading them to my grandchildren. There is always a good message in these books that is uplifting and teaches the children a lesson. The drawings are always so cute and the stories are engaging.

We've started buying these books instead of greeting cards for family--for between $2 and $4, it's the same price for a keepsake that the kids can share with Grandparents. These stories are sweet and there are quirky fun things in the illustrations that make the books fun to read over and over again.

Such a cute story about a day on what lake with grandma. My 4 yr old daughter loves this book and is reminded of fishing with her grandma
