A lot of fun
This dip pen is a lot of fun. It is great to swatch and to write with. It holds a lot of ink. I was able to write for a whole A5 page with just one dip!

Not a brush but a bent nib
I love mine, and want another in a different size (they don't make them). When I want to use an ink for a short time or try an ink, it is excellent. It holds enough for a dip pen -- I can write a few paragraphs with it. If you are used to a fountain pen of course you will be disappointed, because a fountain pen can write for hours and pages....

Good writing pen
Writes nicely and convenient to take with you. One minor gripe I have is that the white can stain easily, so complete clean up is necessary after each use.

This is a DIP Pen, not a traditional fountain pen
I believe problems and low reviews here are because the purpose is not understood. The yellow “cap” is the actual fude nib that stores into the body for protection / traveling. The body is not meant to hold ink it is just a house for the nib. As this is a dip pen, it’s meant to be dipped in and out of an ink bottle. I have included two pics of one of mine (I own several) that is transparent so you can see the nib in its house. The cap also has one edge that is flat for lockability.

Awful pen
This pen leaked immediately after putting ink in before even putting the pen tip on. I didn’t even put more than two drops in and it leaked. Trash.

Fun, but...
This is a nice nib, but it combines the bad from a fountain pen (with italic nib) and the bad from the nib with holder, I mean. It writes as a fountain pen, but the ink does not last. As a calligrapher, I would rather the exact opposite, a pen that writes as "Nib" that holds a lot of ink. I think that is just a dream...

Fun Fude Nib Pen!
I really enjoy using the Sailor fude pens, and have been looking for a fude nib for a dip pen for years. This is it! It doesn’t specify the angle of the nib, but it feels similar to the 40 degree angle of the Sailor Fude De Mannen. The nib is a little narrower than the ones on the fountain pens. The nib has a feed, so less dipping is required. The nib is also removable, which makes it easy to clean, and it can be inverted and stored in the pen body. I love it so much I bought an extra one!
