So far I'm very impressed with this door knob. It was very easy to install and looks really nice. All of the parts and screws were labeled as step 1, 2, etc. which made it even easier to install. Once installed, you download the app and set up all the various ways for unlocking, like fingerprints, codes, keys, and fobs.So far the fingerprint scanner works great. It's only been a few days, so we'll see as time goes on. It says you can add something like 350 fingerprints which is amazing. I did a couple for one of my thumbs to make sure it reads no matter where I place it, or whatever angle, and this has worked great.I really like that you can create unique, one-time codes for people, see who and when someone unlocked the door, and fully customize this lock. You can have it relock after you enter at pretty much any time limit. Or even tell it to remain unlocked for certain times of the day. And if the batteries go dead, you can use an actual key, or plug in a USB to power it temporarily so you can unlock.The only thing that slightly bugged me at first was that there is no way to manually unlock it from the inside. There isn't the little lever thing to twist to unlock. But I guess that doesn't really matter.Overall I'm very pleased with this door knob!!

Wasn't the lock I was looking for, but works better than the other one would have.

This is a sleek looking lock with the weight of a higher quality product. I had it professionally installed, but it only worked for a few days past the return date. It started randomly unlocking itself, which left my house unsecured. This happened again and again, even after I manually locked it with the physical key and manually checked that it was locked before leaving home. Avoid my mistake and save your money for a working lock.

The instructions are basically photos with very little written instructions. I'm 63 and was able to do it start to finish in about 20 minutes. I was frustrated that it was not locking, even though the lock was saying 'door locked' until i realized, I was using my current strike plate and the door just wasn't catching on it, so it was infact locked, but the door could be pushed open as it wasn't caught. Changed to their strike plate and all is well.My bad - I didn't realize that all of the functions are not available without the additional purchase of a gateway. the description leads you to believe you only need the gateway for remote lock/unlock, but you also need it for fingerprint opening.Overall a quality product, just a bit shy on the directions. There is a QR Code to view an installation video, but whats the challenge in that right?When i purchased this months ago, I thought it was a bargain at 129, but now its down to 99 with a 10.00 coupon making it 89. then buy the gateway and I guess it comes out the same. . .

First set came defective. The locking mechanism did not engage. Contacted the seller and I received a new set after just a few days. Worked great the second time around!
