The best dry pasta you can get.
From reading ingredients from typical pastas, one would probably think they are all the same. However, they can be dramatically different from each other. This one is the best I have ever had, which does not turn to mush as some cheap pastas do, and also is extremely consistent in its cooking time. With De Cecco, one does not need to test the pasta before the allotted time; one simply follows the directions for cooking time and it is perfect every time. I have never been able to do that with any other brand I have tried, and I have tried countless brands of pasta. The flavor is also better than other pastas, without being overpowering or drawing attention to itself. It is what pasta should be.It costs more than some other pastas, but it is worth much more than other pastas. This pasta absolutely deserves the highest possible rating, and compared with it, the best of any other brand, even brands that cost more, deserve no more than 3 stars. It is that much better than anything else you can find. The fusilli is my favorite shape, but all of the shapes are the same quality, and which shape one should use depends upon what one is making and one's personal preference. There is no reason to ever buy any other brand; they are all a disappointment after De Cecco.REVIEW UPDATE 5 Feb. 2013:They changed the packaging, and now there is a mistake in cooking time. It cooks for 12 minutes, just like it used to say on the package, not the 9 minutes it says on the most recent boxes I have purchased. De Cecco should really be more careful about such things, as new customers are likely to be put off by such a mistake. It is still the same great pasta, and all one needs to do is cook it for the 12 minutes that they used to say on the package, and all will be well.

Best Pasta Available
We love De Cecco pasta, but our local grocery chain charges a preventative amount for it. We can get it for a reasonable price through Amazon, and get a bunch of it at once. No downside. So far, we haven't found a comparable pasta, especially for the price, and we eat a ton of the stuff. Perfect bite, perfect taste... if I had a gripe, I'd say that you have to cook it for one minute less than the recommended al dente time in order to get it properly al dente, but once you know that, you're golden.

CoVID 19 necessity
When the Pandemic started, our stores here in Hawaii rapidly sold out of toilet paper (like the rest of the nation) as well as rice and ALL PASTA. I could not find Pasta anywhere. My grandkids were wanting Mac & Cheese which was also not available. Turned to Amazon and ordered this product. This is a quality pasta and glad I ordered it. Family was happy too! Fast shipping!

Dinner is ready!!
This pasta was so delicious!! They cook up nice and firm with excellent fresh taste. I keep forgetting that Fusilli does not expand like Elbows do but boy are they good. I use it for fettuccine or with cheddar cheese sauce or just tomato sauce with ground beef. Any way you make it De Cecco Fusilli cooks up an excellent dinner. Great price too. There are no cons about this product.

Hands down the best tasting boxed pasta out there
Hands down the best tasting boxed pasta out there. The al dente cooking time is a bit misleading, that's really only the time to use if you plan on finishing it up in some sauce. Otherwise cooking it to the normal time on the box is a perfect al dente.
