Tandy Leather Round Leather Lace 2mm x 25 yds (22.9 m) Brown 5050-02

This lace is fairly strong for its width. I must admit I didn't do much research, and I expected it to be a bit thicker. That, however, is on me, but this lace has also broken from some faulty seams. It only happened in two or three spots, but I recommend a thicker strand, maybe 3 mm, if you're planning to do something other than decoration or jewelery.Other than that, it is pretty and fairly durable (I used it to make a quiver), but 17 bucks for some string is a little much. It was the priciest part of my quiver, other than the leather sheet itself.

I needed a good quantity of leather cord to make up some necklaces for a recent project. I had previously used some Greek leather cord which was very high quality, but rather expensive, so I thought I'd try this instead.While the Greek leather was soft and pliable, this is fairly stiff and holds the curl that it had coming off the spool. I also noted a couple of splices that were weaker that the rest of the cord and had to be cut out, wasting quite a bit of the product. I won't be buying this again, even though it was a relative bargain.

I am so happy to find this. It replaces cording I bought at Michaels that was going to be the END OF ME. It was spliced together and you couldn't tell until you wore the necklace for a few weeks and then it would simple come apart! Being new to this, I worried that ALL cording was like this. so I'm very happy to report that I'm on 3 months with no issues.

I had been looking around at the local craft stores for some of this leather cord and there were very limited colors and quantity. I ordered several different colors in different sizes after looking at the sample color charts on the website. I am very happy with what I received. The quality is very good and I thought the pricing was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to buy from this vendor again.

The leather lace is soft and very strong, but the leather cracks easily. I used it to make necklaces and bracelets, but when I knotted the lace, the leather cracked very easily and looked very worn. Now, if that's the look you are going for, then you will like the lace. It does have an antiqued quality to it that I will use for other projects, but not jewelry.

If you want a nice leather to create necklaces or bracelets this is a fine choice...I paid $19.03 and now see it is around $16.50 or so...A good price.I would recommend to beginners and veterans alike..

I really like using this lace for makeing necklace pendants. I have been happy with the product and will purchase more when I get low.

Good deal on large quantity. Had glue residue on a lot of it.
