I snagged one on sale and while the regular price of about $110 seems fair, the sale price is an absolutely great deal for any Sith lord and a fine addition to any collection.Sounds- Excellent, although they can be confusing as there are two fonts that indicate they are vader's but sound different. Speaker quality is nothing great, it sounds a bit hollow but it's loud and formidable nonetheless. A bit too loud for quiet duels however even on the low setting.Hilt- Sleek metal construction and a beautiful design, just be careful to thread the screws correctly when charging the battery. It is rather heavy feeling though. Duelists will find greater speed and agility with a lighter model.Blade- After lots of medium-heavy intensity dueling, the blade is holding up fine. Scratches on the surface, but these are unavoidable and overall not noticeable unless you're really looking from up close. Dissipates the RBG light nicely but there is a small ring at the top that stands out. Not a problem personally but if it bothers you buy a neopixel.Lights- Very bright, moreso than the cheaper 2-pack sabers. Being an in-hilt design the light does fade towards the top but it's not to an extreme degree. The colors are satisfying but could be a little more accurate, for example orange and yellow could be more distinguished and the purple is a little too light.Effects- All works well, although the up-down orientation on my "sense" controls seems to be reversed. Not a problem though. FOC works fine, it loses some sensitivity in the middle of the blade so not every hit registers there. Different glow modes are easy to switch between, blaster sounds are nice. My one complaint is the "blade-lock" effect only flashes white, even if you have another color selected. Other cheaper models flash between white and the selected color.

So, I purchased this for my wife for Christmas and I was extremely impressed with the quality; however, when I went to plug it in, I found it wouldn’t charge. Several attempts with the jack and the charge cable didn’t work, so rather than return it to Amazon, I emailed Anasaber directly. They reached out the very next day and after I sent them a brief video showing the problem, they identified the issue and sent out a replacement part. That part arrived about a week later, extremely well packed, and after I installed it, I was simply astonished at how amazing this saber is. It’s gorgeous, well-balanced, with a durable blade. With all its features, it’s as much fun to learn as it is to own. My wife LOVES it. So do I.Unbelievable product.Helpful people.A great company to deal with.Can’t wait to get one of my own.

I only have a few sabers but this is my best and favorite one. The weight feels great, the smooth swing is truly sensitive, the colors are bright and vibrant. There are a couple of issues but, to me, aren’t enough to take away a star. It’s not really user-friendly, at first, but practicing makes it easier. The other issue is, the fonts aren’t necessarily clear to decipher who the font is meant to be. Two in particular have names or lines that don’t sound familiar at all. One says something, “Red,” and the other sounds like it says, “The Butcher.”

I got this saber listed on sale. For the price I paid I am generally pleased. The hilt is attractive enough for a budget saber. All the advertised features are there. Overall, not bad.That said, the reason I went 4 stars is for a couple things. The biggest, for me, is the sound fonts seem mislabeled (ex obi wan was actually Leia). The speaker isn't very good, the lights average, and the instructions were clunky. Almost forgot I really didn't like such a short blade (I switched mine out for 36 inch I already had).As I think someone else said, this isn't a bad starting point, but a savvy shopper can find better around the same price point.

Once I figured out how to properly work it I fell in love. It is fun for adults and kids. The sounds and coloring are catchy and spot on with what you would expect them to sound like. Well worth the money.

This is my first dueling light saber, so this is a novice’s review. I don’t have any other saber to compare it with except the cheap ones you could buy at Walmart that extend from the hilt. I think it’s really cool for the price. It’s bright, it feels sturdy, and I think it sounds pretty good. I know there are better sounding sabers out there as well as brighter ones (neopixel). But this base lit one is designed very well. I look forward to honing my lightsaber skills with this saber.

IVE HAD THEM FOR 3 DAYS AND WE CANT PUT THEM DOWN! THE TOUGHNEST, MUSIC, THE BRIGHTNESS AND THE WAY YOU WIELD IT THE NOISE IS GREAT! ONCE YOU FIGURE OUT THE BUTTON TO TURN THINGS ON YOULL HAVE A GREAT TIME!!! THE BUTTON INSTRUCTIONS COULD BE MORE INFORMATIVE!! I LOVE JUST TWISTING THEM TO TURN THEM ON MAKES IT GREATER!

This is very hard to use It only does 2 colors easy green and white and they both flash/strobe mainly... I can get it to go to Purple occasionally.....but NEVER to Red which was the main reason I ordered it. I wanted a good looking one for my Darth tree. The metal looks great, but If I can't get it to Red it will be a waste!!!
