Brilliant!
This is the first time I have read a book by this author, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! The back stories were a little too long but otherwise it was a sweet tale about strong women and some good men too! The story is about three women and how they deal with the curveballs thrown at them. The blurb on the back only tells you about one of them, Charley who is the main character..our heroine...but Julie and Caroline feature quite heavily. I was rooting for them all.If this is a first book by the author, or even if not, I am looking forward to reading more of her stories to come.Absolutely brilliant attention to detail in the descriptions of everything....many of them particularly mouthwatering! Well done! 5*

Loved this book!
A story of too much money, losing money, friendships and love! And also 2 lovely dogs for good measure!Charley’s character was spoilt and ungrateful, but once she lost all her money, that’s when she really appreciated where the money came from! By working hard, she made a good name for herself! All the ice cream flavours sounded Devine! Was easy to read! Would definitely recommend!

Very enjoyable
Great story about friends and family looking out for each other when times are hard. Made me laugh out loud in places. Fabulous characters with a special friendship.

Great beach read
Although I found it slow to get going, once I got into the book, I loved it. I found it hard to feel sympathy for Charley at first - but, without giving any plot points away, I think that's the point. I loved how she battled back, with the help of (most of) her friends. Caroline, Julie and Samantha also have their stories told, very satisfyingly so too. The secondary characters were great - Maureen and Auntie Peggy being memorable. I laughed out loud and had a tear in the eye at some points (I'm a softie if there's a dog in the book). Now just need to find me a hunky gardener and a sexy vet.

Really good
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was all about the struggle when a marriage breaks down. It told the story of friends . Looking out for each other and being there for each other. About the survival of each other's problems and the joy of their success.
