POCTectal Race MIPS Mountain Bike Helmet for Trail and All-Mountain Riding

The helmet fit was perfect, the product feels very premium and it is extremely comfortable. My head is 23inches or 58cm and the medium worked well with me.It also comes with a nice carrying bag to place your helmet in. Great value.The helmet is very aesthetically pleasing.

Great fit and excellent air flow. Fits tight and comfortable. Plenty of adjustment. Definitely measure your head and use the size chart.

I feel like I owe my life to this helmet... I crashed my mountain bike on one of our local downhill trails. I hit a large dirt jump incorrectly which made me lose control in the air. I slammed head first on the hardpack dirt and slid down the trail. While I did blackout temporarily and there is a small dent on my helmet, my skull was not fractured. My trip to the trauma center at the hospital was short lived once all of the CT scans proved that there was no internal bleeding or brain injuries. I did manage to break 10 ribs and two fingers, though. After I am fully recovered, I will be buying another one of these helmets as I now have a trusted experience with this brand.

Got the XL fits my 7 5/8 hat size head comfortably even with a skullcap underneath.

These are pricy helmets, let's be honest. But I have yet to find one that is as comfortable on my head. It's frustrating that POC no longer seems to sell replacement liner pads, because I've worn those out on every POC helmet I've owned (4 or 5 now). They used to sell pads, so I could refresh them for $15 or so, but they have not had them in stock for a long time.They're comfortable for me day-to-day and I've had a couple good crashes/head hits so I feel comfortable trusting my brain to them.

El casco es perfecto, pero aconsejo tener en cuenta el modelo de gafa que se utiliza o se quiere utilizar. Mal ajuste con unas Oakley Jawbreaker…son un poco grandes para q ajusten bien con este casco y hace que las empuje hacia abajo y te acaben doliendo las orejas al cabo de un par de horas…por lo demás, calidad de acabados top!

I bought this to replace a very old MTB helmet and I couldn't be happier. The colour scheme is a nice departure from the boring old black helmet.The first thing I noticed when I put it on it how much deeper it sits on my head, offering more more protection lower down. My old helmet didn't offer the same temple or rear protection. It's also extremely comfortable, the pads are excellent, and also easy to take out and wash. The peak is easily adjustable, turn the little "nut" in the middle of the peak and it has a small track inside the helmet to offer about 5 set positions. Great for those that wear goggles I suppose. It also has a rubber band at the back that can be undone, put your goggles strap behind them fasten it back up and it keeps the strap secure. Basically this thing feels so much safer, and with MIPS plus the other safety features that Poc build in, it gives me more piece of mind in the event that I need it to do its job.If I have to nit pick I'd say the only problem with it offering such great temple protection is that is may contact the arms of more chunky sunglasses. I also wear glasses, but they have slim arms so no contact issues there. Where I do notice a little contact is with with my riding sunnies, which are Rudy Project and have a slightly taller (not thicker) arm profile, so they rattle against the temple protection a little but I can live with that small niggle though. Oh, and it also comes with a nice storage bag, but its white and may need washing now and then!

Hjälmarnas hjälm! Sitter så jäkla skönt! Lätt och bra luftgenomströmining. Att den sedan var nedsatt och notan hamna på 1020:- gör ju inte det hela sämre.Var lite tveksam till det lila men är i schysst metallic så ser gött ut. Super nöjd med nya krukan.
