Metroid Samus Returns: Prima Official Guide

Love this guide! This was a necessity at times during my first playthrough. I like to buy the guides and support the cause rather than google it for free, and i was not let down by the quality of this guide. When i was a little kid playing the original version on my gameboy, i would take the old instruction booklet that came with the game to school with me and read it all day, marveling at the illustrations of the metroids/enemies. This guide not only brings nostalgia ten fold, but it actually came in handy at least a few times where i found myself lost/or stuck at a certain point and needed the help. I'm very pleased with this purchase and will keep it in mint condition for the day i pass the torch!

The maps could be a little better but they work quite well. Very well written (only 38 pages in as of review), easy to understand descriptions and illustrations. I appreciate the two types of maps provided: one is similar to the in-game map though with all pick ups labeled and the other more a cross-cut terrain with baddies at their approximate location. I have not looked into the "eguide" so no comment there. If you are a Metroid fan, buy the guide. Prima has improved over the years; I miss Nintendo Power guides though. I highly recommend this guide!

Has a map to help me get through the entire game really easily without going online.

I dont know why there are people giving this guide low scores. The Walkthrough is so easy to guide you in the game and tells you when is the perfect moment to get some upgrades and tells you step by step how to get them. I just find one single error and is not a big error is just a writing error on a upgrade but thats it. The maps and description to get all the upgrades are perfect and so easy to follow. I highly recommend this guide to get 100% in the game.

Came in perfect condition. I love all things Metroid and this is one for my collection. I rather use YouTube for walkthroughs anyways 😋

Has useful maps to help plan out routes for grabbing the upgrades when trying to clear it in under 4 hours. It would be better if it was bit easier to quickly reference what items are where. Has your typical boss strats as well, though they aren't always the easiest way to clear a boss.

Item itself is pending inspection, but it looks used. If you tilt the cover against the light, you see creases, many indentions (like things were put on it) and scuff marks. The binding at the top looks worn, delivery was even worse. Half of the seal wasn't closed properly, so it could have gotten water damage, then to make matters worse it was wedged inside the mailbox.I'm not a reviewer, I don't get free stuff to give fake reviews. All my purchases on Amazon are done with my own money and this was a terrible shipment for what could have been a great product that I looked forward to. Either hire people who care about handling product or get product that doesn't look used when it's supposed to be new.

This guide has saved me a whole bunch of times and I'm still in trying to fight the Metroids thats how hard this game is I mean this is my first Metroid game that I have gotten in too so

El libro como tal es genial, un producto de calidad como todos los de Prima, pero no ha llegado en perfecto estado. El paquete ha llegado semiabierto, como se ve en la primera foto y el libro tiene en el exterior un par de defectos. Lo de que llegue un poco abierto bueno, tiene un pase, si lleva cosas encima o algo pues se puede abrir de la presión, pero los defectos del libro no son cosa del reparto, eso ha salido así del almacén. No voy a reclamar porque son defectos menores y lo compré con oferta, pero si van a vender productos así que lo especifiquen de alguna forma como "seminuevo" "km 0" "de exposición" o algo parecido. Un saludo

Guía discreta pero elaborada, preciosa y útil para completar el juego. Te indica todos los enemigos y objetos en cada mapa y está plagada de arte y descripciones extra de los enemigos y del contexto de la saga. Cuando un producto relacionado con Metroid está bien hecho no hay que dudar en hacerse con él. El juego es una obra maestra, la edición coleccionista europea es una joya, y esta guía supone el broche final a una colección redonda en honor a esta entrega. Guía recomendadísima.

Llegó rápido y con el producto bien protegido. Salvo alguna raspadura pequeña en el lomo (la guía viene sin plastificar), el libro está perfecto.Por este precio merece mucho la pena tener una guía física de este gran juego. Tiene muchas fotografías y arte del juego que embellecen el producto y lo hacen más cómodo de leer.Está en inglés, aunque se entiende bien si tienes alguna noción básica. La cantidad de fotografías que acompañan a las descripciones ayudan a la comprensión del material.
