Christmas Gift for Daughters
Our family Christmas party always requires parents of young kids to bring a small gift so they have something to open. For my daughters, I decided to revisit a bit of nostalgia from my own childhood and get them the OG tamagotchi.They’re just like I remember! As the party wound down and things started to get duller, the girls were entertained and affectionate and captivated towards the virtual pets. Definitely a cute throwback for kids under 10 who could use a diversion!

Old school
I bought this for my little daughter thinking she’d love it as she loves babies. Within 3 days she was complaining about being needed so much and the baby was annoying her, waking her up around 9am. I said “Yup! Kids are needy and annoying. Welcome to parenthood!” She laughed and finally hid it somewhere to ignore it. She wants to give it away. So the toy works too good. Can’t figure out how to turn off volume or a button to turn it off completely for a break….

I told myself not to buy tamagotchi original anymore
The media could not be loaded. I told myself not to buy tamagotchi original anymore because of the same boring gameplay but I couldn't resist this rainbow shell. It's one of my most favorite shells now! So lovely 💕

Received the wrong shell- twice.
Look, Tamagotchi itself is great. I have multiple of the gen 1 and 2 gotchis and have no complaints there. HOWEVER, I ordered the "dreamy" shell and received the "90s" one instead. So I ordered a replacement, and once again, received ANOTHER 90s one. Both of them had incorrect "dreamy" labels on the back of their box. I'm not sure if this is just an issue with my local warehouse or overall so beware.
