First off , a shout out to the seller on these speakers. I am a retired veteran and depend pnthe honesty of the people I get things from. The AUDIO WATT store provided a good product and was exactly as it was described. So far this product is working FLAWLESSLY.The shipping was very good and fast enough for any anyone. For starters I'm not a DJ. Sort of but not really. I used these to play music for my kids swim teams, to entertain the crowd while everyone is warming up, and we use them for announcing heats/events. I am however an audiophile. I did some research for non expensive speakers that I could use a few months out of the year, something that sounds good both indoors and out, and something that could be heard when we're talking or playing music. Needless to say these fit the bill. I got two of them, not knowing that one of them was really needed because of the power, but the 2nd speaker is an added bonus for the people a half mile away who want to hear what we're listening to. What I love is that you can connect these via either XLR or 1/4 from a mixer and it will still sound great. They're not really heavy either, the handles on the side help too. They're great when you put them on a dolly and don't move around or fall off. I also like that you don't even need a mixer to connect the speakers to a device and can go directly into them, and then XLR to the output to another speaker. The only con I can think of is the 6ft cables they give you, when have them on a speaker stand. I ended up buying 15ft cables so I don't have a surge protector hanging off of the speaker stand. But that's about it.

Clean undistorted power with 1400 watts ability delivers to most venues what my band needs. I never have to push the power. It's really clean and our tips have more than doubled.

The power is good for Indoors upto 250 pax. If it is outdoor, then the sound is lost.

I've been watching for some Mackie powered speakers and when I found these on sale I purchased. We only use them periodically and our first use at a new venue worked great! We have other Mackie products and have found them to be a great value. These are also a little lighter than some older models which is great!

This is a great quality speaker for the price if you don't want to spend $500 plus for a powered speaker. Has more low end bass than I expected and was pleasantly surprised. Highs and mids sound crisp as well. Music ducking is a nice feature built in. Suprisingly not that heavy and easy to handle with side and top handle. Overall would recommend for a budget powered speaker and looking forward to getting another one and maybe a sub to match.
