I needed a USB WiFi for my desktop where my Cat line is too short to to connect the computer to my router.This USB WiFi adapter worked out great and simple to install.The package came with the usb connector, antenna, install disk, and a very small instruction manual with very small print.Installation is simple: connect the antenna to the usb connector, connect the usb connector to the usb hub on the desktop, place installation disk in disk drive, install the proper driver(I have Win10 pro), restart computer, and the WiFi is ready to connect to your router. Whole process took less than 5 minutes and the computer was connected to the internet.Connecting speed was almost at optimal for download speed and upload is at max. I would love to see a bigger print on manual.

I tried a couple of different wifi adapters I bought at Best Buy before and didn't like any of them. There's a dead zone in my living room and unfortunately, it's one of my favorite spots in my house. At first, I wasn't sure if this would work well given that the previous ones failed me.Unlike other ones, this indeed worked great! As I checked internet speed, my dead zone all of sudden turned into a decent spot for wifi signal.Highly recommend this one!

I live in a two story house and I have always had issues getting wireless signal on my second floor. I bought this item and plug in my computer. Boom! The signal is strong!I can browse videos and play games without any issue. It is really working!The speed is awesome.I will recommend anyone who have issues about getting wifi in their house.Easy to use and work!

When the signal is strong it works really well. I tried to use it in a computer one floor above my brand new router and it wouldn’t pick up any WiFi signal. Previously I had a wireless router in a utility closet that had a wood slat door and that limited my signal strength until immediately after I pulled the router out into the open. Have to keep my computer near the wireless router but at least it works when it’s in range.Edit: does not stay connected, 10-15 ft away from the wireless router and it still loses connectivity frequently. I recently pulled it out of my computer and just stretched and Ethernet cable across the room because I could not deal with it anymore.

This product appears to be well made. All parts are made solid not filmsy.The installation of this product is also a no-brainer. There is almost no installation if you can call plug it into USB is installation.Once plug-in, it works instantly. Love it.

So this is suppose to be 802.11ac but on the product package itself it came in as a Wireless N adapter. The product would have that AC print on it... but that's just a print. I fully tested it if it actually uses AC, but from the speedtests... I was disappointed. I was getting 1-3mbps from this. My other devices with built in Wi-Fi would average about 70-150mbps in my house that uses 300mbps ISP. Also, the range appears that it reaches far, but it still has bad connectivity. I can see my APs, but when connecting it will drop.

This worked for me without needing to install the drivers, but your mileage may vary. For my desktop, the connection was good, but my laptop had less luck. It's possible that the internal wifi or bluetooth was causing interference, but they activate and deactivate with the same switch, as it's one single card.
