These are a great addition to my garden. I have marked it as four instead of five as it would be good if the cable included for the speakers was rated for external use as what is provided is not suitable. Also the lead to both sides of the supplied transformer was longer and also a means of detaching the lead to enable the transformer to be located in an IP rated waterproof box.Also, the sound seemed ‘flat’ and to improve it to get a richer sound was to download an Equalizer app from the App Store, and that improved the bass sound. Nothing was suggested on the instructions as a suggestion to improve the sound in the settings in my tablet.

Coming in at this price point I was looking for good quality sound but not expecting miracles considering they are waterproof and will be used exclusively outdoors!That said, I was pleasantly surprised that the sound reproduction, particularly the bass far exceeded my expectations.The speakers create a decent soundstage (mine are placed 5m apart and focussed on a sitting area) and okay at full volume without distortion.I find around 60% is ideal for background music in the garden whilst entertaining.

Received this and set-up a couple of days ago. Simple to do, great instructions, and easy to connect to. The sound quality is excellent, and you control everything through your phone. Do be mindful, however; you’ll need an outdoor rated speaker cable, and an enclosure for the transformer on the lead. Both can be had from Loops, I believe.

Fitted them easily with mounting bracket out side great sound in garden and around hot tub
