I ordered this to have the food in the event of being snowed in. I ended up actually eating it during a period of time with limited finances between jobs. It came in handy and was delicious. From that experience, I really do think that everyone, whether families, or single people, should have some food storage on hand. I never anticipated I'd financially need to eat it, but I did. I will order again most likely.

Purchased for bad weather, power outages, etc. so thankfully, haven't opened yet. But am impressed with quantity of food for the price. When I do have to open food packages, plan to re-seal any unused food into smaller vacuum bags. The bucket makes it easy to store, which is a def bonus. (Exp date on my bucket is "up to 2/2020")

Our bucket arrived with a crack in the lid so it is not air-tight. The seller says this will not affect the integrity of the product, but they've offered to send me a new lid free of charge. We actually received more calories than described, for a total of 22,040 calories. Thus you get 122 gluten free calories per dollar. While this isn't great compared to other emergency food supplies, this is pretty good for GF options. This supply would last 15 days on a 1500 calorie diet, or 11 days on a 2000 calorie diet. I'm also pleased with the wide variety of options included. I have inventoried the contents below. We received it recently. Fortunately, we haven't had a need to use it. The plastic container looks sturdy.

Advertised as having a 25 year shelf life, but the container says 5 year shelf life. That is not very honest. Seems like that ad over inflates what you are really going to receive.
