Brought this to save on energy, as I only fill enough to make few drinks. This boils in less time than over filling a normal kettle, thermometer lets you know great for all hobs. Remember this does not have a whistle so don’t leave it for too long, has a great pouring spout, so no drip’s, I love the style of this kettle & very happy with my purchase. Would recommend if you live alone or use couple of people, but not for large family! Delivery excellent as usual.

In the economic times that we are all trying to conserve energy this is just great, it sits on almost any heat source, I use mine on our stove or gas, it is small but is easily big enough for 2 large coffee mugs, I showed it to a friend who instantly ordered one, it just looks so lovely, the spout pours so nicely & the handle doesn’t get hot as it’s wider space from the heat source. Absolutely love it

There's a variety of gooseneck kettles for sale but most of them are near £30 to £40. I couldn't see what those kettles have that's different to this one so I took the plunge and went for the more reasonably priced version at just under £15. It's a very good kettle that heats up nicely, stays warm and pours properly. So why pay twice the price?

A great little kettle, but my thermometer was faulty - it only went up to about 80c even when water was boiling. I suspect it needs re-calibrating but I don't know if there is a way to do that.Not worth returning but if anyone knows how to fix it that would be great.

I use mine on our little wood burning stove instead of boiling the kettle up and ir works a treat! Although it doesn't whistle, it has a temperature gauge so you can keep an eye out for the temperature you want. I've used mine since November and it's become an every day essential. It makes a far better tasting cuppa than my one cup kettle, which never seemed to reach boiling temperature. When full, it will make three mugs of tea or a medium sized pot of tea for 2. It says 1.2 litre capacity, however I would fill it up to around 1 litre. Since I began using it there have been no scorch marks to the kettle and it still looks like new! The best thing about it is that due to it's long swan neck it produces very little steam, which is ideal in our damp winters and perfect for small rooms or canal boats. I love my little kettle and can't imagine life without it now!

Really pleased with it for the price! Boiled a couple of times before using and tastes great. Thermometer is pretty accurate as I checked it. No whistle but temp gauge instead. Boils quick even on electric hob. Good size compared to other more expensive pour over kettles.

I noticed some previous reviewers were complaining of a metal taste when making their tea or coffee with water from this kettle. They even tried rinsing the kettle out lots of times and still the water tasted metallic.Why didn't they think of washing up the kettle which I did before I used it and made the perfect cup of tea first go. I am 85 but it's not rocket science is it?
