I've been using these screws to secure the trim pieces that hold down the edges of my rubber motorhome roof. They are great. The phillips heads grip the screwdriver well and hold up even when driving screws all the way into pressure treated lumber without a pilot hole. the wider head of a truss screw like this is great for spreading the force over a wider area so they don't pull through an aluminum trim piece. This is my second batch of them. Highly recommended.

Stainless steel screws should not be able to be picked up by a magnet. As you can see in this photo, the magnet easily picked up a bunch of screws. First time I've ever really been disappointed in Amazon. Actually, it's not really Amazon's fault but rather the crappy seller who's peddling this crap.

I was skeptical of the stainless being to brittle or to soft, but no issues, the went through 3/16+ on my trailer with ease. happy with them, I want more

I tried to use these on wood and they weren't very strong. There isn't much thread left after the cutting head passes to dig into the wood. They have a nice cut and work great for thin sheet metal though.
