600PCS Sewing Pins (Upgraded), 1.5 inch Straight Pins with 4MM Colored Ball Glass Head, Quilting Pins for Fabric, Jewelry DIY, Craft and Sewing Project(Colorful)

These are the first sewing pins I've bought in 10 years. My inventory was running low so I finally moved the purchase of new pins up on my priority list. I've had them for a couple of weeks now and am using them in my quilting hobby. My order arrived sooner than expected. The case seems very sturdy, as do the pins. They are as described. I dumped them out on my table to check them over, and out of 250 pins (no, I didn't count them, just assumed the order was correct :) ), I found 4 defective pins - 2 were bent, 1 strangely had 2 metal shafts coming out of 1 head, and 1 tip had not been sharpened. The pin heads are not a perfectly consistent size, but doesn't affect their use. I haven't tested the heat resistance of the pin heads yet when ironing. The one thing that stands out is how sharp these pins are! You wouldn't think so just from looking at the tips, but they are extremely sharp. I have accidentally poked my hands and fingers a few times now, so need to learn to be a little more careful using them. I've decided that because of all the pin pokes I'm experiencing, I will be putting all the pins into a bowl and sterilizing them with clorox spray (and then rinsing, of course). All in all, I really like these pins and highly recommend them.

I purchased these pins early 2023. In February I received a message from their company asking for me to leave a review. I explained that I had a few minor issues with the order I originally received so my review would be lower than they would probably have hoped for. To my surprise they immediately apologized and sent me a whole new set!Original Set: it had a bent pin, a couple of discolored pins, and the points were rather rough. That’s not a big deal really but I bought these to mark sections on my wool felting picture projects. So I needed different distinct color. And points that smoothly entered and more importantly exited without catching on the fabric or wool. Since these pins were such a great deal I wasn’t really bothered, I just moved them over to my styrofoam projects area. (I maaaaaay have a craft addiction - don’t judge)Second Set: These are perfect! Smooth points, clear and bright colors, and straight as a ruler. The customer service lady was right I probably did receive a lemon the first time. I have no hesitation in recommending this product for a variety of crafts!I’d also like to thank the company for contacting me and going beyond my expectations. I was even more pleased to leave a review after finding out they are a small US company trying to be successful.Yes, I did sort them by color and take the time to stick each pin in a mini tomato pin cushion, I’m pretty sure I have a form of crafting ocd… But aren’t the pictures pretty?!

They were little bendy, not quite as strong as I'd like. Otherwise they are fine. I use them often :)

So the pins turned to to be a bit too thick than I'm used to - so its not the best choice for thin fabric - silk or others delicate onesBut I bended a pin while trying to pin jeans

Sewing as a part time job these pins were a necessity. They are prefect

They get the job done

The pins are sharp, sturdy and the heads are just the right size. The bright colors are easy to see on the fabric.
