Grumbacher Goldenedge Golden Toray Liner Watercolor Brush, Synthetic Bristles, Size 2 (4623.2)

The brush is wonderful but the packaging is terrible. There was no protective plastic tip for the bristles. No individual packaging. It was just tossed into a box with a bunch of other items and crushed. The bristles were permanently damaged. Very disappointed. I’m rating the brush itself as excellent because it would have been if it wasn’t half-hazardly throw in without a thought or care. Buy at an art store rather than Amazon.

I really like this little brush. I bought it based on a Youtube reviewer who demo'd and compared several rigger brushes. But be careful what seller it's coming from. It was shipped in a ziploc type bag with no cover to protect the bristles and was tossed in a larger box with several other items. So it arrived with bent bristles that I was not able to wet and straighten. I did try to use it thinking it might straighten out with use, but it didn't. From what I can tell, though I really like the weight and feel of the brush and it was highly recomSo I returned it and will reorder.

Best liner I’ve ever used. Most are too soft. This one has some snap to it, making it easier to control, while still holding a lot of paint. May buy a couple more just to have on hand, or give as a gift if I can bring myself to let one go!

I have a few riggers from Black Velvet and Da Vinci, and was never really thrilled with them. I saw this rigger on Mind of Watercolor and bought it. It's terrific. Never loses it shape, holds lots of paint, and creates nice sharp lines for tree branches. The price is right, too.

This review is for the seller's response when I reported that the brush was broken in half and was not attached to the enclosed cardboard. The seller responded that there was no need to return the brush and was going to process a refund. Nice to see that people are decent in the market!

Very nice brush. Stable but flexible, great for small lines like animal hair and bird feathers. Good quality.

Stiff can use like a pen

This is the best rigger I have purchased. It has greatly improved my landscape painting.
