easy to install and operate. Make sure that it fits your left or right hand door specifically.I had to notch out the handles open end shaft in order for it to be turned around so as not to get caught in the door, as the handle was for a left opening door only. I believe they do have a universal left/right lock also but it was not available at the time of my purchase.

Seemed like a great product but beware, if the door is already cut for a regular deadbolt, this won't work. It's narrow and tall, smaller than a regular hole

if your door is predrilled for a standard lockset youll have to engineer some plates to cover them. this lock is narrown and leave large gaps around the hole. i used some scrap stainless sheet metal to make covers and riveted them to the door. looks like it was done on purpose, but would have been nice if it justcovered the holes to begin with.Update. 6/3/23. Had friends over. They didn’t know it automatically locked and turned the knob. Tempe knob is tiny. And they’re a smaller person. Door opened right up and now won’t lock. Just outside the return window. Really had grown to like this lock. But it’s not secure at all.

Works great on outdoor fence gates These look great on the fence - unobtrusive. I like that you can create multiple codes for different people such as the gardener or friends, so that you can delete one easily if necessary. Nice to have security in the backyard without having to deal with keys to gate

This lock set is made cheaply, parts don't fit. The first one I got was missing the spindle. the unit is difficult to install and hold while installing. I will not buy another one of these crappy locks

I needed to changing the lock of on the cabinets in the kitchen and this lock delivered! I needed something that was keyless entry! The coding combinations came in handy since I wouldn’t be the only one accessing the cabinet. The material is actual metal and since it is metal it does have some weight to it.

I wish the handles on this YYjop Mechanical Door Lock but it is so convenient not needing a key (or to replace batteries.)This is an all metal door lock that is keyless but completely mechanical. That means you don't need to fumble with keys, you'll never get locked out and the lock will never fail because the batteries ran down.This was as easy to install as any door lock and installation instructions are included. It has a satisfying heft and a vaguely industrial look. It comes with a preset lock code, which is located on a card in the box so don't lose it. However, it is a simple matter to change the code to any 4-7, digit, code.I love that the buttons are metal, too. The whole thing feels quite substantial. And I also love that I won't have to replace any batteries, like with my other, keyless, locks. My only complaint is that the handles are small. Small enough that they could be a problem for people with arthritis in their hands. But for the price, it's an excellent lock.
