Very quiet, auto-start works, great airflow, not so great accessories
Bought this to ride out power fails with my 72 gallon tank. Overall I'm happy with the unit, but not so much with the airline and check valves. I just had a 9 hour power fail and the pump worked as advertised. When the power failed, the pump started after a few seconds. The pump starts in continuous mode after a power fail. I switched it to intermittent mode, and the pump was putting out great air through both outputs all the way to the bottom on my tank. In operation, the pump is impressively quiet (why can't all air pumps be this quiet?). After 9 hours my power was back, and I recharged the pump. The LED on the unit was easy to read, and one of the 4 power LEDs was blinking so I assume the unit lost 25% of it's power over the 9 hour period. Very impressive. All my fish were happy and playing around in the tank.A couple of issues caused me to knock down the rating one star. Be prepared to throw away the airline tubing (or most of it) as they way they pack it causes crimps in the airline. The tubing is probably usable, but would make the pump work harder and possibly reduce the airflow. The vendor could easily fix this with better packaging. Next, be prepared to toss the check valves. They are the typical very cheap ones, and strongly restrict the airflow. For this emergency setup I just placed the pump higher than the tank top and didn't use check valves. If you are using these pumps as your regular air pumps, get better; less restrictive check valves. The airstones worked fine.

Keeps the tank going if power goes out
Perfect came in handy when we had the rolling power outage , kept fish alive until it came back on . Also awsome for fishing fully charge lasts 4 ish hours .

Need Reliability? This is NOT it!
Have had this unit for less than 3 weeks and it no longer works & will not charge or power on. Luckily it was not critical for my reef display, just a backup…and a janky one at that. If you’re looking for reliability, this is NOT it.

good to have on hand
Used during a power outage and it saved fish from dying. I also use when cleaning out my small koi pond so not to stress my fish out. Going to purchase a few more just in case of another outage as I store my koi in the basement for the winter and you never know when it will be needed again. I have a 250 gal. stock tank for them and one will not be enough if power goes out for hours/days. Good product for emergency use.

Surpassed expectations!!
I don’t take the time to write a review but this air pump has surpassed my expectations. I pulled it out of the box and fully charged it (took about an hour) and put it in a tank on the intermittent mode and it has been running for a week now still with battery remaining! Also it does not make any noise. Very happy with my purchase.

Loud
Update part 2: the company reached out to me and gave me a full refund for the one that was not functional. I appreciate that. The other one is still working well so no complaints there. So I’ve updated my score review.Update in less than 12 hours: it stopped working! Turned it on after 1a and when I woke up after 7a it no longer worked. Tried charging it… nothing. Disappointed in the waste of money.Original: I bought two of these. One with one pump and the other has 2 pumps. The one with 2 pumps is so much quieter. This one is annoyingly loud. I wanted to keep it on consistently but now I’m thinking only to have it on when I’m away to work or just out the house . I’m disappointed.Other than being too loud, it’s okay. The bubbles aren’t great but they aren’t bad either

Bait bucket aerator
Bought a Frabill bait cooler and replaced with this rechargeable aerator after the Frabill battery unit couldn’t last the night. This one has power to spare the next morning.

Fish saver
I ordered this when we were warned that there were going to be several planned power outages in our neighbourhood due to upgrades. Since the outages were going to be long enough to put my fish at risk, I ordered this to keep the oxygen flowing.I plugged it in to the USB that is built into the power strip where everything else for my tank is plugged in to. When the power went out that triggered this pump to turn on - exactly what I needed in case I wasn't home. I swapped the air for my sponge filter to one side of this pump, and kept the other side for one of the included air stones. It does need to be manually turned off once the power is back on, but aside from it being a little loud, I think that's hardly the worst thing considering how useful it is!Everything worked as intended, and my fish were happy through out every outage. I'm keeping it plugged in as a "just in case".

Buena
