Had this for about a month now. And it does a pretty good job taming the name! My old brush was also cordless and battery operated but it would run out of charge after 3/4 uses. This has lasted nearly 2 weeks. I use it after the showers in gym to stop my beard being wild and bushy. It gets up to temperature in the time it takes to tie my work boots and pack my stuff in gym bag. The cover is good and can just slot it on after use and not worry about melting a hole in side of bag.

Came well packaged. Some charge in the device, so charged up as recommended on the instructions. Put the heat to desired level and waited on the light. Once it reached desired temperature I used it to comb my beard. The device had no effect at all, so went to next level of temperature (maximum). Same again, no effect. My previous, non branded device worked perfectly but this one, fails each time to straighten and hardly any heat when combing beard.

Would have to use every day but works maybe with some beard products might keep it straight for longer

I have opted for the cord version after having the wired version that broke - it’s a great device probably better for shorter beards than longer beards - my only fault is the charge holding isn’t great - 2 days max - otherwise great

I’ve been using this daily since it arrived, and at first it worked really well and did a great job of straightening my beard, but I noticed I got 2 good uses before it had to be recharged fullyIt’s now been about 2-3 week, and it’s not longer doing the job it once did. To get any attempt at a good straighten, the device now has to be fully charged before each use, but even with that it is barely able to get hot enough to actually make any difference to just combing my beard out as I did before purchasing thisWhen I first got the straightener, on the hottest setting I was unable to touch the sides of the comb area due to the heat it was putting out. Now, however, I am able to fully grip it in my hand with no repercussions whatsoeverI should have paid attention to the fact all other reviews received their item for free, save your money and look elsewhere as I fear you may get the same results as me

Good portable option for trips away but I prefer my plugged version from VICIKON which heats up quicker and because it doesn't have batteries it is lighter and ergonomic to use. But if you don't have a plug socket near your intended usage area then this is a good option or are frequently travelling this is a good option

I definitely don't have (nor possess the capacity to grow!) a long beard -- but I do have a fairly unruly beard that I want to smarten up and control errant hairs. I've tried the Vikicon a few times now and have concluded that it does nothing other than comb my beard.When turned on, the Vikicon produced a concerning amount of smoke/smell, which hasn't really stopped even after multiple uses for 10+ minutes. But even that aside, the heat isn't anywhere that is capable of straightening or cleaning up the beard. I tried on multiple temperatures and all sorts of techniques to find the best possible outcome. None showed any visible difference to using a basic beard comb.That said, I've given it 2 stars as it is actually feels very nice -- brushing your beard with a little heat felt great, but did nothing to actually improve its look and certainly didn't straighten anything. This is just eWaste.

Decided to go cordless after my other beard straighten stopped working. This one works wonders on my beard and its a compact design, very handy for my travels.👍🏽
