What a surprise!
I wasall tuned up to not like 'Z', but shockingly, he was more likeable than some of the others. Celeste was perfect for him. The stories just keeps getting better as we find out more. Choosing 'Z' after all of the horrific danger and willingly returning after all that happens and a lot happens. It is good to see some cooperation and bonds forming. Looks like they will need it. Really good story. Reviewed by Who She Reads

I can’t get enough Naga
I freaking loved, absolutely loved Zhallaix. I love a broken and flawed hero. The tension is rising in this series and I am anxiously reaching the end of available books and I am losing it. 2024 is too far away still. Each book, each story brings us newer depths. The start of this series and and where we are now differs so much. Vrushka and Gemma were great but also their tale felt, I don’t know, superficial and it lacked oomph. Zhallaix and Celeste had so much to offer me, and the plot that is the promise of chaos and destruction that humans will bring new earth and the threat that is the mysterious lurkers. The secrets revealed here… oh my deities, I don’t know what I’ll do with myself when this is over.

Action, adventure, suspense, danger, twists, hot romance and fantastic characters! Lover it!
🐍 “I will never know another as you, for you are mine, Celessste. I will adore no other more than you.”~~~Celeste is an absolute badass! And she’s a survivor. Celeste’s not only strong, brave and fearless, but also capable of making really hard decisions. Even more, she’s so loyal to her crew and never willing to leave anyone behind. And I loved that she could take care of herself and never backed down from all the challenges thrown her way. Celeste is so awesome and I loved her so much!Zhallaix, being a Death Adder, is feared and hated by all the other naga for everything his clan has done on the planet. But he’s so much different from his clansmen. For someone who’s known pain all his life, he’s done so much to protect and help the naga females. Zhallaix is broody, vicious, lethal, possessive and dangerous. But unlike the other naga males we’ve met so far, he seemed more patient and understanding. I adored that scarred danger noodle so much!I loved everything that happened between Celeste and Zhallaix. Their chemistry was fantastic and they made such a badass team, embarking on a dangerous mission in search of Celeste’s squadmates. I loved that Celeste was so unafraid of Zhallaix, and I loved him for doing everything to protect her. And both were so attracted to each other but trying so hard to resist the pull. Oh, talk about tension! But when they couldn’t fight the need for one another anymore, the passionate moments they shared were scorching hot. Their journey towards happiness was not an easy one, but in the end, both deserved to find happiness, forgiveness and love with each other and get a few surprises on the way.In addition, the storyline was fantastic. We get some more insight on Genesis-8 and with how everything develops, I’m really curious what will happen with Central Command.Overall, the story is another great addition to the series. It’s filled with non-stop action, adventure, suspense, violence, twists, hot romance and fantastic characters.I loved it and cannot wait to see what happens next!

A Reading the Paranormal Review
The more than a little feral naga are BACK and I am so here for it. This time around we have broody, scarred Zhallaix who has his heart and loins set on a human lady and BOY he doesn't hold back much, does he? The guy has as close to a death wish as a naga can have and he's pretty much feared and hated in equal parts by the other naga.So when Celeste doesn't run screaming from him, Zhallaix basically doesn't know what to do. No, wait. He knows what to do. He's just a little taken aback over her lack of fear. After all, all the others head in another direction when he shows up, but this human woman stands toe to tail with him. Yeah. He's intrigued. He's also determined to lock down on his desires because he doesn't want to hurt her.Meanwhile, Celeste is dealing with a whole lot of stuff. The ship and crew her team have been sent down to extract are...uhh, let's just say everything's in a bad way and leave it at that. Her crew is...hold up, I'm trying to find a good way to put this. Her crew is sort of falling apart as they uncover some of the things that happened planetside. People she should absolutely trust to have her back are acting a little sketchy and she's pretty sure those higher up the chain of command are doing things that aren't necessarily in her (or her squad's) best interest. In other words, things are complicated. On the plus side, we get a few more answers to some bubbling questions. That said, some of those answers lead to even more questions. Like, what is Central Command's plan for the naga and the shattered remains of earth and HOO BOY I don't like the potential behind Genesis-8 in ANYBODY'S hands. So, yeah. Answers, questions and more questions. MAN, I'm enjoying this series!-Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal

Death Adder
This story caught my interest quickly. It was full of my sand action. The earth has changed and the mystery of what happened is still not clear. But the Naga were machine grown. Bread story!

A Sweet Bitter Perfection
As the story continues I was genuinely surprised at how she flipped this storyline for the Death Adder. I was mad that her style had changed at first but as I kept reading the style change fits both Zhallaix and Celeste personality's. Both have been hurt bad by life, both learning together how to work and be a team. In the end they are both learnt how. Inspirational for those who have been hurt for life, learnt not to be victimised by it, but charge into that uncomfortable change and rule it! Both Zhallaix and Celeste are bitter sweet in nature!

💜🐍 Zhallaix & Celeste 🐍💜
4.5/5 stars.I was very excited to learn more about the Death Adders and it didn’t disappoint.I loved Zhallaix and what he’s all about. I loved how he was around his mate. So adorable in a weird way and he’s also a bit of a grump.Celeste is the type who doesn’t take crap from other people and I loved it. She also doesn’t let Zhallaix get away with anything unless she’s willing to and I’m here for it.I loved their relationship and how it all started. Sexy times were great. 🐍🍆🥵Two men made a comeback I wasn’t expecting at all and for very different reasons. I didn’t think we would be back at that place. It’s still creepy as F.I wanted more of them at the end, Celeste giving birth and all that and I know it’s very weird for me to want this cause I usually don’t care about that part but it’s hybrids we’re talking about. I wanna know all!Kellix got me excited for his book. He’s very knowledgeable but also stoic. 🤩Gemma and Vruksha appear and it’s everything, I loved seeing them again. Can’t wait for the next one, Azsote aka Boomslang!

Very good but not the best of the series
I live the Naga series and I had high hopes for this installment. And, the moments between Zhaillax and Celeste are steamy and even tender, but the plot surrounding was, at times, hard to follow and didn't keep me as engaged. In the first three books, I couldn't put them down (not so with this one). However, it's still a worthwhile read and better than most scifi romance out there, just not the best by this author (of whom I have high standards and expectations).
