this case is medium firm TPU! It has a gel-like but sturdy texture, which makes it absorb impacts and force much better than hard cases.It is clear gel, and it looks so nice and glossy and sleek!Super light weight.And most importantly, it makes the Oasis 10x easier to grip with one hand. Without this case, the Oasis is super slippery to hold one handed, but this case makes the grip extremely sturdy. Thanks to this grippy case, I'm no longer afraid of my Oasis slipping out of my grip anymore due to the slipperiness of the bare kindle!I also love how this case is room temperature (I hate holding my bare Kindle because the metal gets so frigid!) But this case takes all the coldness away.

Love this case for my kindle oasis
This case is light and looks really good on my oasis. It's really easy to hold when lying down in bed reading. I plan to buy a similar one for my paper white.
