The best mills in the world, we have bought many others and these do the job. Worth the money!
We looked for metal mills and these were the only ones we could fine. Different metal used for pepper and salt mills is perfect. They are by far the best we have found and are very happy with them.

Quality!
You can tell these mills are of good quality when you pick them up. They feel weighty in your hand but not so much that they’re difficult to use. So much better than the much cheaper versions we’ve used in the past. Hoping we’ll have these for the next 10 years or beyond.

Not worth the money
Purchased this 5 years ago thinking it has a life time warranty. Otherwise I would've not spent that kind of money on a pepper and salt mill set. Buyer beware, the life time warranty is only on the mechanism and not on the mills. Mine quit grinding after 5 years and 1 month and the warranty is only good for 5 years. I guess they make it where it will quit working after the warranty runs out.

Beautiful classy shakers
So far we really love these for our table use. Very classy looking. I have yet to load new peppercorns. I’m hoping it isn’t complicated.

Coarseness is hard to control
We've had these grinders for about six months now, maybe more. There's really no good way to control the coarseness of what you grind. It's even unclear in the instructions. You can adjust it by loosening the knob on the top and you can also adjust it by the ring around the bottom. The problem is that the knob at the top keeps coming loose so there's no way to know what you are getting. Make the knob too tight and nothing comes out. Too loose and you get big chunks of pepper. I also had to reglue the insides on one of them. The outside is metal but the insides are plastic held in with glue. These really don't feel like quality. After a while the grinders get clogged up and nothing comes out (that may not be the grinder's fault though). I say that but I keep ending up dragging out the little glass bottle of McCormic pepper that had the little plastic grinder glued to the top of it. It's cheap, made of plastic but has never yet failed to give me lots of ground pepper at a moment's notice. We finally decided to try another type of grinder and we're extremely pleased with it. It's the Modetro Premium Salt and Pepper Grinder Set with Adjustable Ceramic Coarseness. With these, the coarseness stays where it's set and man does it deliver the salt and pepper. No more cranking for ever to try and get some salt, not sure if you got anything at all.

Not worth it!
These are beautiful and solid... but the salt grinder didn't work very well from the start. After about 16 months the pepper grinder flat out broke. Nice for decor, but not for cooking.
