Very nice sleep sack.
So I felt compelled to right a review. I don’t usually write reviews but I wanted to provide a direct comparison of the sleep sacks as I feel that some of the reviews were a bit misleading.I found that the Hudson sleep sack and the Halo sleepsack are very comparable. As you can see—the pictures show a direct comparison of the XL sleepsack in each brand:-They are virtually the same length with the Hudson sleepsack just a touch longer.-The neckline is a bit different but neither are tight under the chin at all.-the halo zipper is inverted, the Hudson is not(there is a piece of cloth that is a zipper protector on the Hudson)-the halo shoulders are a bit wider-the halo arm openings are a bit smaller but neither are too tight or too loose-the material is different. The Hudson might be a touch thinner and some may say the halo is a bit softer. But my kiddo doesn’t seem to care either wayThey both washed up well. They didn’t shrink. They held their shape. The zippers were unaffected with washing.Overall. These sleepsacks are both quite nice. And the Hudson is about 1/2 as much money. I find them both nice. I hope this helps!!

Buy multiple!
I have used sleep bags for my second child since she was around 6 months old. I bought a few Halo microfleece bags in the 6-12 month size, but as my daughter was growing out of it (around 14 months, 70 percentile for height) and the weather was warming up, I decided to buy a few jersey cotton bags. I had the Halo bags in my cart and paused when looking at the total, as they are around $20 each. I decided to do a quick search and found the Hudson brand. I ordered one and was sold! I have since ordered more and have found the quality fantastic, and at half the price of Halo! The 12-18 month size I ordered will likely last beyond 18 months, but it by no means too large at this time. So happy I found these!!

We love this sleep sack! Medium (6-12mos) woodland pattern ☺️🦊🐦🌳 🌿It is a little thinner than the Halo cotton brand but not by much. Perfect for warmer months. It is the same width, just comes up a little higher on the neck than the Halo brand (more of a scoop neck than a V like the Halo brand) and it is actually about a half inch longer than the Halo brand, fleece style at least. My daughter is 7mos, on the smaller side weighing about 17 lbs and 25 inches long and it fits her great. I imagine it will fit her for awhile! If it seems like a cooler night I put her in fleece pajamas underneath. Otherwise, we do have a fleece sleep sack as well for cooler nights (Halo). These are such a safe alternative to a normal blanket. I love the pattern and all the different patterns to choose from! Great price, too!!! ☺️👍 Washes and dries well, normally 👍

Too big
Quality is fine but this product is huge! I got size large for my large 7m and it fits my 3yo (who is tall). Disappointed in the sizing.

It’s inexpensive for a reason apparently.
We’ve been using sleep sacks for over 1.5 years... yes we are those parents who actually bought the XL. Hey if he’s happy so are we. All of previous sacks were halo brand. This one arrived and the zipper broke on the first use. I had to force it to extricate my toddler in the morning. I’m not big on writing negative reviews but this seems like a pretty big sleep sack fail. I like Hudson’s other products tho, like their blankets. Maybe mine was just a dud.

Really happy with this purchase
Really happy with this purchase. My 9 month old has always slept in halo sleep sacks, but was outgrowing the smalls. We had a bunch of those that had been handed down, but no bigger sizes. We need at least 3 at any given time, one for daycare, one for home, and a spare, so buying the halos was looking like a pricey proposition. But they're a major sleep association for my son, and he's too young for blankets, so there we were. Then I saw these. Figured for the price, I'd order one and send it to daycare if we weren't crazy about it for home. I am pleasantly surprised. While the fabric is a little thicker than the halo cotton and a bit less soft/luxurious feeling, these are really quality sleep sacks. The fabric is still plenty gentle against baby's skin, the neck area is wide enough without being enormous, and the shape is similar to halos. I believe these run a hair shorter than the halo ones in the same size, which kind of stinks for my long skinny baby, but whatever. And I like that the zip opens bottom to top for easy diaper access. They do seem to shrink, and that and the stiffer fabric kill a star for me, but at half the price of the halos, I still bought like 4 because they're a nice product for the price. And I love the prints.

Good value, comparable to halo sleep sacks
Great quality, construction, fabric and zipper. Very comparable to the halo sleep sacks at a cheaper price. I prefer these over Aden and anis (spelling?) muslin ones because those shrink and fall apart. These have good weight but aren’t too hot. I got size 0-6 month and my large 4.5 month old who is in the top percent for both weight and height fits great. She’s 18.5 lbs and long. You could try putting them in the dryer multiple times on hot if they are a little big for your baby because they are cotton. I haven’t noticed any substantial shrinkage when putting them in the wash and dryer on normal. They hold up great.

Fits great, fabric soft and lovely, ZIPPER IS HORRIBLE
The fabric was soft and lovely. The pattern was a beautiful blue with silver stars that dotted it's landscape. It fit perfectly and was not that heavy - perfect for warmer weather where you still want a blanket on your little one.The zipper was 100% useless, low end junk. Kept jamming up and getting stuck on air and itself, as only a cheep piece of garbage does. I sew and I would never purchase this quality of zipper unless I had absolutely no choice.I plan on attempting to use the fabric in making a shirt for my son, as it is useless as a baby bag. If you are looking for a baby bag, there are better brands - unless you know someone who sews well enough to replace the zipper right out the gate.

Fresco

This pattern of a fox & deer is so nice together. Not too heavy but should still keep baby warm. I bought the largest size thinking an older baby wouldn’t be able to climb out of the crib in the middle of the night but still be comfortable. It is huge. We’ll see if my idea works!
