Butter and Oil MMJ
What can I say that isn’t great about this product? I bought the product for one thing only and that was to make cannabis butter. I have my MMJ medical card here in Phoenix, Az and with the price of edibles at dispensaries it is much cheaper to make my own oils and butter. It is very easy to use. I used a 1/2 ounce of cannabis fine grounded and decarbed. To decarb you grind the herb and put it in the oven at 225 for 45 minutes. After it is decarb, open the bottom of the pot and pull the funnel out put one stick of butter cut into fourths into the bottom canister and fill to just below the hole on the side with water, put the herb in the funnel area and set in the water with the butter put the bottom back on the kettle and put on medium to high heat. Wait until to hear it gurgle. It is not finished until it is done gurgling. Do not pull it of to look at it! Trust me, wait until it slows down the gurgling, and leave the handle off the heat, try to place the kettle as far as you can on the stove range, that way you do not melt the handle. You will then pour the butter from the top of the kettle to a glass container, I use Pyrex and put in the fridge overnight. The next day poke a hole and let the water out of the bottom because that isn't the butter, the top is the butter. You will have about a stick. You can rerun the her twice so that it is stronger, just repeat the steps above. This product is amazing and quick!

Very easy to use
This product is fast acting and very easy to use. I used 1.25 sticks of butter because there will be a little left in the bottom of the pot that you will not be able to use if you do the heat correctly and not burn the butter. Comparing to using a crockpot this works just as great.

Takes the guesswork out...
Some tips—it takes 1/2 an oz to fill the *herb section. Break it up but don’t grind—think shake.*Decarb the green: I used 245 degrees for 15 min, then 215 for 45 with great success. It’s gonna stink up your house.Add 1/2 c water to the stick of butter in the bottom section. Use med low—med heat & bring to a boil. When it starts to percolate leave it alone, you can actually watch the butter fill the top section; like reverse coffee making. When ‘complete’, pour into heat safe container and heat again if it feels heavy—I got a second dose of butter that was initially blocked by the soaked herb.LET THE BUTTER COOL COMPLETELY in the fridge overnight before draining the water (it settles on the bottom)—if it isn’t separated all the way, the water will diminish the potency of any butter it mixes with (and makes for a bad consistency). If your herb is strong, we found 1/8-1/4 tsp to be a perfect dose.We like a savory application, mixing some with garlic salt and spreading it on a cube of pumpernickel bread. Though melting a bit and putting inside a peanut butter cup is always a winner.Takes approx 30 min to feel effects so don’t overload by accident.

Makes weak butter unless you run 5-10 cycles
This unit is basic. Its a time consuming process to as to make good quality magic butter, it needs be poured back in and run again 5-10 times as it takes less than 10 minutes of infusion time per cycle. Save your money and buy A Levo2 as i just did to replace this.

Easy to use and nice quality end product
I love using it I just hate using water and having to wait for it to separate but it's easy and way faster. You have to run it through twice for best extraction making it a little nerve racking but I enjoy the finished product and would like to get a bigger one someday.

Fairly simple to use, but could be even better.
I wanted to try to infuse oil and herbs. It went okay, but to really finalize the infusion, you need to be able to remove all the remaining moisture (oil) into your end product. You have to try to gather all the herbs into cheesecloth and squeeze it out. If they included some kind of method to press the remaining product into the collection area, I think it would improve the value of the infuser.Or if you are a lot more talented and graceful than I am, this is a non-issue for you.

This was so fun to use. Cookies turn out amazing
It’s like a little old school coffee percolator. It was so fun to use and if you run it through two cycles, the butter can be pretty potent. The flavours were delightful
