K Return of Kings (DVD)

First word of advise: watch the movie, Missing Kings, before jumping into this season. There are quite a number of references and flashbacks to the movie and while they do an alright job making sure the viewer understands the main things that happened during it, there may be smaller things that leave you confused or at a loss when mentioned.I enjoyed this season much more than the first. It was a lot more engaging and exciting to me personally, especially with new perspectives and focus on clans having to work together. We also had a lot more worldbuilding, which I appreciated. There were things in the first season I didn't understand one bit (like how the Kings got their powers, what gave them powers, why they had powers and regular people didn't, etc), and those questions were answered and fleshed out in this season. Yashiro feels more like a main protagonist. He still doesn't do much fighting, but I'm okay with that since he takes on more of a strategic role. If anything, it's kind of nice to see a main protagonist who isn't always on the front lines and doing all of the fighting or always saving the day.The art style has changed somewhat (for example: eyes are a little bigger, noses are more defined, and the style doesn't seem to be quite as hazy/glowy compared to the first season). Nonetheless, it's still gorgeous and the fight segments are still done beautifully. Dub is still fantastic.My only complaints with this season are 1) the fact they amped up the fan service so much. I found myself rolling my eyes at the numerous (ridiculous) jiggle physics and panty or suggestive camera angles. It was completely unnecessary. And 2) They also reused certain scenes (for battles/fights) throughout this season. It wasn't terrible, but definitely noticable.I very much doubt there will be a season 3 given on how things ended, which I'm okay with. While I would always welcome a third season, I'm still satisfied with how everything wrapped up.

I love it but the problem was that the box was broken when I received the package. That may have been the post office or a problem in shipping. But I'm still happy with my purchase

Ever so since the corona virus I've been binge watching anime and this is one I gave a try. Not my type of anime but it ended up pretty good. Even my girls love it! Definitely worth the buy.

This series is nothing short of amazing. The animation is among the best I've ever seen. Of course, that alone doesns't make a great anime. This series has a variety of wonderfully defined characters and their relationshipships with each other is great to see. The story is engaging throughout the series and I was never bored while watching this.This is the second season in the anime. The watch order is K (the first season), K: Missing Kings (the movie), and then this second season. You will not be disappointed in this anime. It is among my absolute favorites in my collection of about 90 animes.

Good show glad it's in eng dub
