I've switched over to XT60 connectors for most of my medium to large 3cell planes, but felt the connector was just a little too large for some of my smaller (< 1 lb) models. Classically "JST" connectors would be used in these planes but I was never a big fan of them, especially as the current demands of some of my smaller models increased. The XT30 connector fits my "new" need quite nicely, and the ones provided by this vendor have worked out well so far.I would recommend when soldering to put attach a "mating" connector to the one you are soldering so that the pins don't shift from the heat generated by the iron.

I bought these, not for RC use, but to replace the really bad mini speaker terminals that come on the otherwise very nice Pure Acoustics satellite speakers I’d bought several years ago for our home theater. The original terminal clips were too soft to stand up to the job of firmly holding the wiring. Periodically, the connections here and there would come loose, causing a loss of sound for that channel....usually at some very exciting point in a movie or musical program.So, after I decided to do away with the problem and not finding any adequate solution among the speaker parts suppliers, I went rogue.I’ve used connectors like these on my tricopter and other small RC aircraft for some time. After trying to think outside the box for awhile, I hit upon the idea of replacing the original terminal assembly with a small acrylic plate, drilled to mount in place of and to cover the terminal opening in the speaker body. I also drilled a slot out, so I could insert and hot glue the female XT30 end into the plate. Then I soldered the speaker wiring in place and reassembled the whole thing. The male XT30 terminal went onto the speaker-end of the wiring from the amplifier. It’s magic! I love the firm, positive connection, the small, unobtrusive size, great price, NO MORE AUDIO CUTOUTS and most of all, your connector kit arrived promptly and at the perfect time to complete this little project. All parts and shrink tubing were immediatly ready to go.Thank you for your prompt delivery of the perfect parts to fix an old and frustrating dilemma.

Finware 10 Pair Amass XT30U (XT30 Upgrade) Male Female Bullet Connectors Power Plugs with Heat Shrink for RC Lipo Battery I re-purposed these connector pairs to serve as a modular feature for connecting an electric guitars output jack to the internal electronics since it is one of the few connections that doesn't disconnect otherwise from the potentiometers and pickups when, for example, the pickguard on Stratocasters and similar guitars is removed for modifying pickup types or other electronic features. They are small enough to fit neatly into the control cavity and are rated for disconnect and reconnect cycling since they are intended for battery connections. This makes them ideal for the signal output characteristics of the pickups and potentiometers. Makes swapping pickups or repairing other elements of the circuit easier while reducing de-soldering requirements. Provides a contact point for consolidating grounding and shielding.

They say Amass stamped on them, but it's not too difficult to copy something like that. Regardless these connectors seen to be pretty stout little things. I haven't had a chance to test one on a quad yet because I'm waiting for some silicone wire to come in the post. However they do click together nicely and seem to have a nice firm hold. I also tested continuity between a mated pair with some wires soldered on each end then wriggled the hell out of them while testing and everything looked good. I've replaced some jst connectors with these on a few lipo packs to test on a 2.5" drone. Will further update with any significant news once I can fully test these connectors in flight.

These connectors are labelled Amass, and the quality is good enough that I believe these are brand name parts. The plastic is resistant to melting at high temperature. As a test, I cranked my soldering station up to 800 degrees and held the tip on a metal pin of the connector for 20 to 30 seconds before the plastic started to deform. This is way more heat and time needed to solder these connectors correctly. I will certainly buy these again, and will probably get a set of XT60's very soon.

Yes... a few of these have deformed... when I soldered them BADLY. When I forgot to put heat shrink on... or when I didn't tin my tip, and had to re-heat them four times... or when I did other things that put way to much heat on plastic... which btw, melts when heated too much.... so... these things are great when you don't destroy them with poor soldering... and they will be destroyed when you do and you will learn not to do that.

The media could not be loaded.  These are perfect! I love these connectors, they're easy to solder, very strong, and don't warp with high heat from soldering. I'm in a volunteer EMS department and I used these to wire some green emergency lights to my truck. They work perfectly and they allow me to disconnect one light to troubleshoot if something breaks. I used 16awg stranded, and it was a little too big, but it worked. I would recommend using 18awg stranded wire or smaller for soldering. No complaints!

I used these connectors to replace the stock ones on my new SCX24. I love the XT form-factor and wanted to replace the standard connectors on the battery and vehicle. These connectors seem to be of good, genuine quality and function perfectly for my needs. The connectors were shipped quickly and they arrived in a couple days. Couldn't ask for more, don't hesitate to buy!
