It really fits perfectly and since the sink is black it looks great too. The included "stopper" fits inside and that works well too - I expected to see leakage but there was none when I filled the sink with water.

We've been using this for a week and have no issues- it looks and works great. Some have complained that the strainer prevents water from fully draining because it comes slightly raised, however just some hot tap water and a little shaping with the fingers flattened ours out such that it sits quite flat and water drains out very well. Our house came with a black, enameled cast iron sink and standard silver metal drain + strainer that stood out too much (silver on black). I've tried a couple of name-brand, black metal strainers and both quickly have the black paint chipping away. This FLEX STRAINER is a great solution that looks like it will stand up well, it's won't suffer from black finish falling off like the metal ones, and the snap-in place drain plug has worked well for us, too.

My concern was that some water would not drain from the design of this. It does. All the water drains. It catches the stuff that shouldn't be going down the drain and actually make the old sinks look more modern. Just push them in is how simple they are to install. I'm glad I bought them.

This would have been a great sink strainer but it lacked drainage holes up the sides which does make a difference. As it is, it leaves some water in the strainer itself forcing you to lift the edge of the strainer up to let the rest of the water out. I realize it’s a simple thing but my last one (different brand) had the side holes and it did make a difference.

This sink strainer works great in our stainless steel sink! Because of some reviews, I was worried it wouldn't allow things to drain properly because the rim sits on top of the drain, but when you push the rim down around the drain, it'll suction itself on and keep the rim very low so it doesn't really cause an issue. Debris and water just slide right over it. It's really easy to clean because of the material (much easier than metal strainers) and the stopper plug works great at stopping water. At first, I pushed the plug on a little too hard and had a difficult time pulling it off again because the handle on it is a little difficult to grasp. Fortunately, there's no need to be that forceful with the plug because it'll stop the water fine with gentle pressure, so just be warned.

Absolutely the best drain covers I've ever purchased. They fit tight on the drain and the removable water stopper fits perfectly. Going to order more so I will have them if these ever wear out.

This was just we needed. It rests in place and does a good job of catching most of the gunk that would otherwise go down the drain. Easy to put in place and remove as needed. Easy to clean. Only downside is that the stopper will slow the water from going down the drain but not it will keep your sink full of water. Our solution is to just swap it for the original stopper when needed - simple solution.

I really wasn't sure about these when I bought them. And I have to admit that the first couple of times I used them to wash dishes, I noticed that they didn't really hold the water in. But it was a slow leak and I could certainly get my dishes done without having to add much, if any, additional water. However, I found that after a few uses ... all of a sudden it was absolutely holding the water in! So maybe the silicon just needs a bit of time or something to mould to the sink. Whatever the reason, they work beautifully now and I am so happy I bought them! They are easy to get out and slap them against the compost pail to empty the contents from the strainer. Easy to put the stopper in and get it out. Just love them!
