i never thought myself to ever use a kindle before, i love the feel of a physical book too much - that’s what i thought.to sum it up; this device is absolutely incredible and is 10/10 in every way.i love bringing books on the go but sometimes you want to bring many stories with you especially going on a holiday or travelling with heavy books.with a kindle you can store thousands - and i mean THOUSANDS - of books in a tiny device which is lightweight and less heavy than just one book or two.the screen is amazing and like paper , it lives up to the name.the buttons are easy to control like tapping in and out of pages, being able to use it at the pool and beach without the fear of damages is just spot on incredible - especially as it’s waterproof: resistant . the colour is sleek and not easy to be scraped , the service of amazon are so helpful and being able to buy books at an instant especially as i’m impatient is just so useful. the sales are amazing and easy to get books for cheaper…and so much more, the kindle paper white impresses in every way and more than you can even imagine. it’s 100% worth it for the price; you’ll save so much in the long term and it’s so powerful and easy to use . accessible and amazing. this device does it all! hits all the spots…!

Nothing wrong with refurbished.
I decided to save a few pounds and bought a refurbished Kindle. Absolutely fine, no marks or scratches. Works perfectly and comes with warranty.Very happy with it.

great product
I had the original paperwhite and this took a bit of time to get used to the differences, but I love it, I joined kindle unlimited and it is so easy to return books. it recommends the next in series , so there is no searching. just love it

3rd kindle in 25 years. wouldn't be without it.
Preceding two kindles kept chugging away but granddaughters, with my blessing, took them. The latest one is faster to load and I am 100% pleased with it.

Nice reader.
Really nice size but I do miss the buttons.I tend to fall asleep reading and inadvertently touch the screen and can flick a few pages.Backlighting adjustment is easy to get to your preference.The adverts don't really bother me, never look at them.Cost was reasonable.Bring back the buttons!

Terrible device
Bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. On arrival it performed erratically and kept locking. Amazon agreed an exchange but on day of delivery got a message saying not available for nearly a month. No more reconditioned products from Amazon for me.

I don't know if I was just lucky, but mine arrived absolutely pristine.Do you need 32gb of storage for ebooks? Probably not, but it's nice to have.I know Amazon have released the new generation Kindle, but I still prefer the Paperwhite. Far better screen backlighting, and the (on the face of it) tiny increase in screen size makes a huge difference to usability.One word of warning though, this was advertised as having no ads, but mine arrived with adverts very much enabled and in your face. It took me quite a while on chat to get Amazon to agree to remove them. This was also more complicated than it needs to be. They insisted that I purchase the advert removal at a cost of £10 and then would reimburse me. They did exactly what they promised, but why does it have to be so complicated?
