Hi, I had to replace this for my pool pump. It only took me 20 minutes to replace value for the price as well.

Like most folks I was eager to purchase this off Amazon given the lower price than you would typically find at the big box store. But I will never do that again, especially when it comes to products such as these. Had a simple switch of an old outlet to this new gfci outlet. My outlet had line and load wires - no big deal. But after 2-3 hours of troubleshooting and ensuring my wiring was correct I gave up and had to switch back to the old outlet. Later that day I tried a test at another property by taking an existing operational gfci outlet and switching it with the 3grace one. Lo and behold the 3 Grace one was once again not working and that’s when I knew that the issue was with the gfci outlet and not my wiring! What a waste of time. I can understand if you have a lot of these to install but if you only have a couple I would just recommend spending the extra few bucks and getting them at Home Depot or Lowe’s and save yourself a ton of time.And yes, I returned the defective gfci outlet and bought one from Home Depot and installed it successfully within 15 minutes - no issues.

the correct way to install wire in this is to strip a length (indicated on the back of the outlet), then push it in and tighten the screws. Black to gold and white to silver and bare copper to green nut
