Finally, a thermometer worth writing a review about
There isn't anything I don't like about this thermometer. I have five others and they have all seemed to made their way to the back of the drawer for one reason or another. One seemed to die every other month and dealing the button style batteries, well I'm sure that's enough said. One was painfully slow at getting to the full temperature, despite being an "instant read." One was so light and flimsy that it litterally got used once. One I could barely read because it was a quite small, unlit display. And the final one was edged out because it had a shorter, fixed probe. All of these things are eliminated with this thermometer. From temping water for yeast proofing to meats and everything in between, this is absolutely the best thermometer I have personally used. Very happy with this purchase.

Works well. Good value thermometer.
This thermometer gets you a reading in about 5 seconds. Checked the accuracy with a cup of ice water and it was near 32 degrees. One button was sticking when I opened the package. I was able to get the button free and it now works ok. Works much better than the older digital thermometers I have had.

Quick and accurate
What an improvement over the basic meat thermometers I’ve used for years. Finally upgraded to this digital one, and am a big fan. Calibrated it, and after multiple uses, rechecked and it stayed true to calibration. So quick...no more watching the needle rise slowly and then not quite getting to the necessary temp. Great product.
