Great for Eczema/Chicken Skin!
*Quick review: Buy it! Will be a staple amd must for my beauty and skincare routine in the foreseeable future. When used correctly-(*on clean AND DRY skin) this thing is GOLD! I will prob buy another so one is used for face only-and other for body only. Note: Did not receive anything for this review, just want to pass along the good find!** Note: I religiously wash/tone/serum/lotion/retin treatments so as to prevent all outbreaks/issues I can, regularly take vitamins, eat healthy, and STILL have skin issues from time to time. My skin would be a mess if I wasn’t so strict with my routine. The Good:Totally purchased this not expecting anything. HOWEVER….. I LOVE THIS! It totally works. Especially on my face. My clear/white vellus facial hair feels like it keeps getting longer/thicker on face on cheeks & jaw especially either from aging (mid30’s/or autoimmune?) I was literally spending hours on days plucking my hairs. I can’t/wont wax face because its too damaging to skin (I regularly do acid treatments on my face), and again, for some reason my hair doesn’t wax off well. Even at a salon. Yes I know how to properly prep skin/hair for waxing. (Only my pits do well). So anytime my hairs growing on face it only causes more hormonal acne/folliculitis. I have tried Dermaplaning with medical scalpal and could never do perfectly and always gave myself cuts and took too long. Hence hours spent plucking which hurts fingers and hands. My skin issues/background and further review with tips:My skin issues: most sensitive/Highly reactive skin(i.e.perfumes/mildly irritating or clogging ingredients on inflame my skin severely), Combo-Dry Skin Type. Other skin conditions like folliculitis, facial hormonal /cystic acne around jaw, autoimmune related skin problems (Lupus/MS) that greatly affects my skin all the time including recurring hives, folliculitis, eczema, sebhorric dermatitis, impetigo, alopecia, vitaligo and melasma! Talk about misery. 😪😵💫 I have an over sensitivity to hair on my skin everywhere in general, where it feels painful-I have yet to read or hear of anyone else claiming to have this same issue. For instance I will get a tiny blood clot/scab on diff parts of leg where a ingrown hair was or from shaving/waxing, and it won’t go away for like 6+ months or more or I can intensely feel any individual slightly inflamed hair anywhere on my body. I have minor lymphadema issues that causes fluid retention in limbs -and further skin/hair irritation. (i.e. areas like where socks are or sides of legs behind knee, upper arms). I regularly do lymphatic massage and dry brushing.TIPS FOR USING Nano Crystal Hair Eraser:1.) YOU MUST ONLY use on completely clean and dry skin. I repeat-DO NOT USE on damp/or wet skin.-I attempted to use in shower while taking a shower on legs and arms. a.) it didn't seem to take off hair evenly-kept slipping. b.) unevenly went too deep and scraped/cut skin. I gave myself what looks like road rash w/top surface scabbing on skin on arms and parts of legs. I was way too aggressive. Mind you-I didn't really know how to use. When I used on dry skin, no pain, not scrapes, and it seemed to remove any darker skin in top skin layer as well as hair, on legs, arms, stomach, which for me was a bonus. I seem to have random melanin patches in my skin maybe due to Lupus??2.) On my face it worked perfectly. Clean 🧼 skin and use gently circular passes. Don’t do too many passes on one spot. Because it is a larger device, hard to get around nose or temples. I would sort of hold skin taut with one hand and then with other to small little circles. Why I especially loved this:*1-Seems to gently slough off dead surface skin that’s there AND all vellus hair!*2-I didn’t get crazy red and didn’t have scabbing etc. (I get this if I even rub a regular cotton wash cloth on my face (which I obviously don’t-I pat dry).*3-Still was able to use toners with minimal stinging. You could just skip chemical toner if you can’t deal with minor discomfort, but I have built up tolerance. L😅 I have learned the hard way of doing too much chemically to skin, and now its a fine balance of cycling chemical peel days & breaks with moisturizing only days. But just glad I can stop tweezing!!!*4- Doesn’t seem to compromise my skin barrier-weaken pore elasticity/make them look larger, or show any physical damage. One area on cheek I did go over too much and it is a dry patch of skin that I am fixing. So less is more. A little bit of a learning curve-patience, gentle and slow seem to be best way to use this.Products I use and can’t do without:chemical exfoliants/acids (Products like paula’s choice 2% bha, AHA-glycolic, 5% & 10%benzoyl peroxide, Retin A, Biologique Recherche P50 1970, azealic acid, 10-20%vitaminC, transxemic acid, 20%niaminicide from Paula’s, biossance squalane rosehip facial oil…Recently BEST chemical exfoliant I found is *Medicube Zero One day Serum-doesn’t dry out/cause skin irritation even though it has high-14% concentration of PHA, BHA and AHA acids, AND I can even put on a .1% RETIN A right after and NOT burn skin or turn like a tomato. For anyone who is experienced in chemical exfoliants this is pretty insane-meaning how is your skin jot fried and melting off?!?! Couldn’t do this with Paula’s choice 25% AHA 2% BHA peel)So, even on days when only using 2% acid toners, cause dead surface skin, that I sometimes can’t even see, and even after gently wiping dead skin off with bamboo muslin washcloth, somehow dead skin was still getting trapped that builds up/clogs pores and then the cycle of irradiated folliculitis/acne/blackheads/whiteheads repeats. 🤬 I have high hopes this nano crystal hair eraser will become a game changer for that. I only plan to use on face maybe every two weeks or only when I can physical see hair growth. For body, I definitely think this would be a game changer for anyone with eczema, ingrown hairs, chicken skin, hardened / calloused skin. If you are using on feet I would recommend buying a separate one just for your feet. Different bacteria 🦠 live on diff parts of our body-would not mix feet slough with body skin. Just my two cents.

**updated- not for me, but customer service is great
Updated May 24, 2023So a few months after posting this review the company reached out to me and offered me a full refund because I wasn't satisfied with the product. They also mentioned that they are working on making it better to reduce the issues I had with it. I added a star to my review for that.I have seen many people who do love this sort of shaving, so perhaps it is more of a 'not for me' situation. I would say that if you can't use sharp objects, then this is probably a good alternative for you. It does take longer than a razor, but there are less razor bumps and no possible way to nick yourself. It does leave your skin really smooth- also, while my hair grows back within 24 hours after shaving, it took at least 4-5 days when I used the crystal.I still recommend not doing it in water as I had the most success with the dry way. Just put on a podcast, as it does take more than 5 minutes.********original reviewTL;DR- takes forever to scrub off hair and still misses parts. I'm going back to using a razor.I think I got this about 4-6 months ago with the hopes that it could save me time in the shower by 1- exfoliating and removing the hair in one go, and 2- let me go longer between hair removal.I'll be real with you, I didn't really use it that much, probably only a handful of times during the several months I've had it for, but today as I was scrubbing and scrubbing at my skin, I realized I couldn't do it anymore. While it does help me out in the second requirement by allowing my skin to remain soft and smooth longer, the process just isn't worth it, for me. I believe the instructions recommended that you do this with wet skin, but honestly the first (and last) time I tried that, I actually got friction burns from rubbing too much- but the hair just wouldn't come off!Since then, I stuck to doing it dry, which does come with dead skin floating around, but worked better for me... Better, but not great. As in, I spent over 30 minutes rubbing at my calves and forearms trying to get all the hair and I still have patches everywhere.Who cares if I need to shave every other day with a razor, that only takes 5 minutes and it actually gets everything! If the skin is too oddly shaped, like around the ankles or behind the knee, you can scrub and scrub but because it isn't getting as much of the surface on it, it takes forever and still doesn't get it all. Not to mention that my thighs... I just gave up with them- I'm not sure if it's because they're too flabby or something but the crystal kind of just slides over the hair there (not bikini area).I think that this could be a good option for a young kid who needs to remove hair for whatever reason... though you can't really use it on your armpits, so honestly probably just teach kids how to properly use razors.

Great for most leg hair removal
Great for hair removal on thighs or calves. Not so great around the bony areas. And yes it keeps my legs hair free longer than a razor HOWEVER if it's the summer time and you are trying to keep your tan ,this thing exfoliates when you use it, so you do lose some of that tan!

Works Great!
I was quite impressed with this product. So much so, that I purchased two more to give my daughters for Xmas.It takes a few tries to figure out how much pressure to apply and how to best remove the hair with the fewest number of passes.I love that it exfoliates my legs too.

Does what it claims to do!!! Recommended!!!
I was very sceptical to buy this product. I thought I would be another hoax. But trust me it works! It does what it says it will do. But how do you do that?1. Wax or shave your legs/hands and leave one or two weeks for the hair to grow a little outside the skin (not sure if it works on fully brown hair as I have not tried)2. Wash your legs/hands and apply body wash or soap3. Scrub the crystal slowly on section by section. Do not use your force. You ll end up with rashes. Takes time but worth it.4. Once all sections are covered, wash your legs/hands and immediately apply moisturiser as the skin has just been exfoliated and if left dry it will cause zits and rashesPainless and efficient! Happy erasing!
