Salomon Men's Quest Prime Gore Tex High Hiking Shoes

Came shipped from Amsterdam so it took 3-4 days to arrive. Had to go on a hiking trip in the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, so left the next day with these shoes in the car boot. I was worried about breaking these in as they were brand new and my first hike was to Scafell Pike. Tough climb but these boots were wonderfully comfortable. The path was slippery in many parts but the boots largely did their job. The lace is thick and sturdy and can be tied using the metal loops. Used the boots 5 days back to back and loved the comfort and weight of the boots. They are very well designed and while walking through shallow pools of water in waterfalls the boots let no water inside. That was really pleasing. Overall, great boots and good value for money.

Excellent boot for hiking on various terrain (gravel and grass wet or dry) completely waterproof straight from the box. Superbly comfortably compared to my old boots. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the extreme tightness of the aperture as you the boots on!! It has become slightly easier to put my feet in with more use, however it is still difficult to get them on having to twist and push my feet into the boot !!

Already had a good pair of Salamon boots at least 10 years old. These Quest boots are impressive, snug fit, lightweight. Perfect fit straight out of the box. Highly recommend them

Wear these a lot and they have never let me down.Very comfortable with great ankle support.Feet have yet to get wet.

You can use straight out of the box.No bedding in needed for me . Light and comfortable and look good .

Estas botas son lo más. He perdido la cuenta de cuándo más compré. Más de dos años y siguen siendo super cómodas, impermeables , seguras y fuertes. Llevo media vida usando ésta marca especialmente, eventualmente otras. Éste es el mejor calzado que he tenido. Por cierto, andan solas!

Buon prodotto. Lavoro in montagna e li ho portati nel mese di dicembre in condizioni di pioggia e neve. Lo scarpone non ha la rigidità tipica dello scarpone d'alta montagna ma comunque garantisce un ottima tenuta della caviglia. Il puntale rigido e le suole non fanno comunque avvertire la presenza di pietre sui sentieri sconnessi. Molto leggeri ma allo stesso tempo caldi ed impermeabili. Ottima scelta

Scarpa comodissima, ci ho fatto 24 ore senza avvertire fastidi. Ho preso un numero più grande e va benissimo. Provate in acqua e mantengono il piede asciutto. La suola ha un buon grip.

Ho comprato questi scarponcini ormai più di due anni fa e nonostante in inverno li usi quasi ogni giorno (in città e per lunghe camminate o trekking), sono ancora perfettiSe come me avete il collo del piede "alto" sono un po' scomodi da infilare perché Salomon ha questa "pecca" di design (riscontrato anche su altri modelli in passato) ma una volta indossati sono come dei guanti. Reggono benissimo l'acqua e i piedi non sono mai sudati.Credo sia uno degli acquisti migliori che abbia MAI fatto (davvero!).

Poseen una suela muy dura y rígida comparada con otros modelos de Sálomon, lo que las hace ideales para rutas muy "rotas" con piedras. Si pesas bastante, con otras botas mas blandas, sientes demasiado las piedras, y es fácil acabar con dolores en los pies.Estas en cambio, si bien se notan un poco más torponas debido a esa rigidez, protegen perfectamente y permiten acabar rutas exigentes sin esa sensación de tener las plantas de los pies machacadas.Muy contento con ellas
