Poor customer service
The PIR is faulty. It flashes on and off all night seemingly triggered by the movement of air molecules. An experienced electrician fitted it. I wrote to this company several times but all but the first email was ignored. The response was to imply that I hadn't adjusted the settings correctly. We are so unpopular with our neighbours, believe me I have tried every setting possible! Most disappointed with the customer service. I expected at least a part refund or an offer of a replacement

Unobtrusive and stylish light fitting, but what is its working temperature range?
There are many reviews of this light fitting so I won't go over the basics again. Just a few things. Firstly, it can be a bit fiddly doing up the grub screws which fasten the body of the fitting to the base and which end up right next to the wall (See image). It isn't necessary to remove these completely to instal the fitting; if you do and drop one, the chances if finding it again are slim.Secondly, in the instructions the temperature range is given as -10 degrees to +30 degrees. On the outside of the box it states 0 degrees to +40. I'm hoping the instructions are correct. (Update 17/8/21 The manufacturuers have confirmed that the fittings should be suitable for temperatures between -10 degrees centigrade and +40).Thirdly, the adjustments for time and illuminance are not terribly accurate and I found that it's a matter of trial and error to achieve a reasonable adjustment. On the whole I didn't find these any harder to put up than other light fittings and once up, as I say in the title, they are unobtrusive and stylish.

Started so well but...
The lamp worked fine to start. But after six months the sensitivity, which cannot be adjusted went haywire. At the point the lux kicked in, the lamp kept turning on and off. The only two adjustments you can make are to lux and duration. The sensitivity is obviously programmed in. It's only IP44...definitely not enough for UK climate. Will only buy IP65 minimum from now on. Don't buy.

Can't be used on a brick wall.
I bought three of these lights for my house. But the only way you can get a mains cable into them is through the back panel. That doesn't work on a brick house. There's no gap to bring a cable out sideways from the back, no provision to get it out of the side of the case, and the case is made of strong metal so any attempt to cut new holes would be very difficult. The lights look nice but can't be used so had to go back.

Well-made lights giving excellent illumination of a specific area
I installed four of these lights along a broad passageway beside my house. They give excellent illumination of the required area without glare and no excessive light spilling into the adjacent property. I fitted the model without PIR, so cannot comment on that. The light is well constructed of cast aluminium with good fixings. The back plate takes two screws to fix to the wall, and the light housing fixes to the back plate with four grub screws for which an Allen key is ideally required, although a small electrical screwdriver may do the job. Installing the lights I encountered two tricky aspects. First, cable entry is from the rear only and since I needed bottom cable entry I had to chase a small channel into the wall to accomplish this. Second, the electrical terminals are fixed to the unit so making those connections ideally requires three hands! (One to hold the light, one to hold the cable into the connector, and one to screw up the terminals.) Awkward while up a ladder! Persistence pays off, however, and I am very pleased with the results. Hopefully they should be good for many years.
