Works Well
Works well for what it is made for. The threaded screws break relatively easily which means they need to be screwed in completely when using the sticks. They are thin and quite flexible. I like the length being much shorter than most they are easy to carry and easier to use in tight situations. They are not reflective but reasonably easy to see in limited lighting because of their color. They also come with some handy tips. They are not meant for use in most conduit.

Shipping Sucked, but product is good
Needed this to run some wires through my walls. Product is good, but as you can see from the picture, the box was too big and in shipping the cap got cracked.

Brass fittings are prone to breaking
I used this product to pull thin wire from attic to rooms. First issue is that the edge of the fitting snags very easily. Someone else posted adding putty, but a wrap of tape works too.The second issue is that I was pulling out of a hole 12" above the floor and the process of pulling the rod out of the hole breaks the fitting at the male 3/16 thread end. Maybe brass is not the best material for this fitting. On the bright side, I was able to snake that wire across the attic space and down a wall pretty easily. It has enough of a bend to and strength to push through insulation and runs straight enough to find on the other end.

Got the job done, which a fish tape couldn't do.
I spent 4 hours trying to fish a fish tape through an insulated outside wall, to no avail. The fish tape wasn't getting through the insulation, so I thought I would try something different. I ordered this set of rods on Saturday and they arrived 4 days later. 5 minutes after going back into my attic, I repeat, 5 minutes later, my set of rods went from attic to the hole that I cut in the drywall with NO problems at all. I pulled 2 Cat 6 Ethernet cables through the wall and I am done! Needless to say, these rods saved the day!

don't waste your money this is a disaster
there are multiple issues with this cheap and low-quality product.- the fiberglass pieces are not flexible so routing it through a small gap like an inch with some angle is very difficult and you would end up the fiberglass piece to get snapped as you struggling to run it through.- the fiberglass pieces that are slightly longer than a foot gets screwed to each other via the threaded tip at the end of each piece. no matter how tight you get them screwed each other while you fishing a cable through a cavity and wiggling and twisting it some of the screwed pieces get loose and you end up losing some pieces in a wall cavity. I lost two pieces in the wall cavity. you have to wrap an electrical tape at each connecting point in order to avoid them from getting lose and fall in a place you probably would not be able to retrieve. what a convenienceso long story short I got one piece snapped because the pieces are not flexing enough to bend like 40-45 degrees and lost two more pieces in the wall cavity. 3 out of 5 pieces are gone. what a waste of time and money on a piece of cheap junk.I wish I had used this thing before my return window was closed. my money is wasted but I'm more upset that all my time and efforts wasted for nothing and I had to buy a better proper product to get the job done. Look around and stay away from this one
