Fab novelty gift for my son and wife expecting first baby.

Ask a silly question, Amazon...I ordered this coin for my four year-old to play with, and it was a hit straight away, particularly when spinning it on a table or the floor or similar. The writing of 'Mum' and 'Dad' is nice and distinctive and sizeable, in fact the whole coin is quite satisfyingly chunky and the designs on each face are raised to the extent of being nicely tactile. Being made of solid metal (apparently bronze to go by the description although it's entirely coated in the dull silver colouration) it is very sturdy and stands up to pretty much any situation it might find itself in, although if giving it to small children care should probably be taken to make sure they don't chuck it at any windows, pets, people, priceless Ming vases etc. The milled edge is also a nice touch. Overall, a fun little item/toy for kids over a potentially pretty wide age range.

I ordered this heads and tails alternative fun coin for just that, a bit of fun.On one side it has Mum the other Dad, it is for deciding whos turn it is, which could be for anything from nappy time to getting a can out the fridge!The coin is really well made, its solid and looks great, my son whos 9 loves it as he can just flip and coin and expect us to go along with it because the coin says so, which for a simple life we do! lolIt is great for your own home or as a gift to any parent new or old.

We are expecting and there have been many jokes about who is gonna do what when the little one arrives. So i figured to make it fair i'd pick this up.The coin is quite large (40mm) so shouldn't be lost too easily. It's made from bronze with a "antique" silver finish. Personally i would have just preferred the bronze and i'll probably polish it up at some point to get rid of the silver finish. On one side it says it's Mum's turn and the other it's Dad's turn.I do like they use mum and dad and not the american mom which feels very cringeworthy. It's finished to a good standard with no rough edges.It flips easily and has already has a few laughs. This would make a great gift for new parents or for a babyshower.Good quality, value, and lots of neh neh neh neh nehs. Recommended. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

Using the coin with toddler and partner is so much fun. Sometimes we use the coin to decide who will the chore. Instead of arguing we keep it on faith.Its a good gift option too. For £2.99 its totally worth it. Its unique, affordable and fun to use

The coin is a good weight, so it makes flipping quite easy to do. It's clear to read each side with MUM and DAD's turn on each side. A funny gift for any new parents or for winding up the other half.

The media could not be loaded.  the coin is far better than I expected, I thought it would be plastic or very light weight but its actually a solid metal and flips really well.A really fun idea for new parents but also fun if your children are getting older.the only thing that really lets it down especially if you are going to give as a gift is the packaging, even a simple thick paper envelope would have been preferable
