South Bend Woodworks Personalized Wooden Name Peg Puzzle for Babies and Toddlers

My sister had mentioned she might get my nephew a puzzle with his name on it to help him learn how to spell it. He is not even two yet so I offered to get it for her. I then looked at my Christmas list and saw I had two other children around the same age I needed to still buy for so I got them the puzzle as well. I forgot to change the default color of the puzzle from pastel to primary. I emailed the company and got a response right away. They were very nice and accommodating. When it came in it was very well packaged. The box was lined with large bubble wrap and each puzzle was shrieked wrapped. That might not seem like a huge deal but after buying so many things this holiday season and seeing the awful conditions they were sent in I really appreciated that. I like that this puzzle has pegs so little hands can easily pick it up. The puzzle looks like it is made of nice wood and I like the little feature of the companies name being stamped on the back. That way if someone sees it and wants to get one for themselves they will know where to go. A card came in the box with the companies logo thanking you for the purchase with employees signatures. All in all it was a great presentation and I'm sure each children will like their puzzle.

This company has been great to work with. I originally ordered this peg puzzle for my 18-month-old daughter. I liked the legs because I thought they would help her maneuver the pieces easier. However, after not even 30 minutes of use, the peg on the Y snapped off. The pegs were more a hinderence than a help. I emailed the company asking if they could replace the peg-letters for non-peg letters. They responsed the same day they would replace the letters, and the replacement is great! I recommend the puzzle, but stick with the peg-free one.

This product is WONDERFUL! Very high quality and craftsmanship goes into making this adorable wooden name puzzle! We purchased this as a birthday gift for our neighbors' son and everyone seemed to love it!! One of my favorite parts was the personalized notecard that is signed by every person who touched or had anything to do with the project's completion, it was a wonderful touch to remind people of the great thing about buying products that are made in America! Would most definitely recommend this product to others!!!

Just ordered this for my nieces birthday, assuming it would be the same size as the one I received as a gift for my son, but in fact it was much smaller. It's good quality and still cute, but I'm docking one star because of the size. You can see in the pic my son Vincenzo's is much bigger.

The board and letters are perfectly cut. Colors are vibrant and very eye-catching. However, the handles for each of the letters are not glued well as one by one broke off with minimal usage. Maybe it's just my toddler, but shouldn't these types of toys be made stronger to withstand the herculian strength of children?

I bought this puzzle two years ago for my daughter and it’s held up well. Great quality and craftsmanship! Looks just like the photos. At some point one of her letters got lost so I just wrote the seller to see if I could order a replacement. He replied within hours and offered to send a replacement at no charge.

The gift was a huge hit with the birthday girl! The fact it’s custom and wood is really nice and helps with learning and multiple aspects! I will be ordering for my son and recommending to my other mom friends. The package came quick and it was packaged in an awesome manner. I worried the letters would fall and I’d need to keep it boxed but it came with plastic over it!

I really like it. I do. I worry about the pegs holding up. It is super lightweight but feels slightly flimsy. Super fast shipping and delivery and a cute note. Seller gets 5 stars. But for the price I would hope to feel a bit more confident in the puzzle holding up and I am not sure I do.
