Didn't work for me
I returned it because it wasn't working for my garage door.

Read the instructions. Keep butting your head against it til it works.
**Read this:**After cloning the remote buttons, you'll have to do the learn button on the garage door openers again with the new remote. After buying a previous remote to work with multiple types of garages, I decided to try to find something that would work with one additional brand.Looking up universal remote again, this lil guy popped up. Doing a little research, it looked like it would work with all 3 Liftmaster, Craftsman, and the elusive FAAC brand. I was concerned when I saw Craftsman on the description, but not on the list of brands, but having it work with FAAC was good enough for me.First I tried it with my FAAC gate. It worked without any hardships. Once it was cloned, I could just click and the gate would open. Liftmaster and Craftsman were a little more tricky. I didn't quite understand it at first. But once I figured it out, it worked easily for both Liftmaster and Craftsman. Now I've got 1 remote for 3 separate brands! It's small, but it's powerful. It's got as much range as my old long range remotes. A tiny gripe would be that the buttons are not numbered, but as long as you see where the keychain part is, you can see which way is up. I'd also advise keeping the instructions somewhere in case you want to reprogram the thing.

It's awesome! It actually replicates your old remote!
This little gizmo has restored my faith in humankind. I was recently scammed by a company on the internet that sells garage door remotes (not on Amazon). You can probably guess its name. They sent me a remote that was not as described and did not work. THIS little gizmo works! It actually copies and replicates your old remote, very easily--worked first time. I have three Liftmaster garage door openers manufactured in 1991 on 390 MHz. They don't have the learn buttons on them. We originally had three Liftmaster remotes that controlled all three doors (thee buttons). We were down to just one that functioned. Liftmaster does not even sell a remote that controls these old openers, and I searched the internet to find a three-button remote that would work for me. I thought I had found one but as I wrote above I was scammed. So I searched again--I realized I needed a remote that could learn from (replicate) my old remote. There had to be one out there--most late model cars have these devices installed in the sun visors. I needed a pocket model. Thankfully I found this remote on Amazon and it is awesome--it works, and it's a great value. It took all of three minutes to program it for all three of my doors. This remote gets my highest ratings--5 stars!Note: I paid full price for this item and received no compensation of any kind for writing this review. I respect the review system, and abhor any attempts to game the system with phony reviews.

works great...just what i needed
Received the tiny package early. Earlier that day, the seller emailed with instructions on how to program. The same thing was on the instructions but I appreciated the email because the print on the paper was so small.I have gates in my complex to enter and exit by remote plus my garage remote. The gates are the 9 dip switch style of unknown brand/frequency. The garage is a yellow button Chaimberlan. It was impossible trying to find on universal remote to work on all three in this combination. The Xihada remote programmed immediately (I recommend placing both remotes next to each other on a flat surface while programming). The programming for all three on the new remote is identical with the exception of the garage which requires you to complete the programming by pressing the yellow learn button and then your new programmed button.I haven't tested the range or battery life yet but so far so good. I'm tempted to buy another one as a backup.
