I’ve tried a lot of different brands of butanes and I have no problem saying this is by far the best butane on the market no doubt. I ran out of and used another big named brand and the difference was noticeable. It will take a lighter that your ready to toss and bring it back from the dead. It is the best I’ve used.

The cap was broken and rather flimsey. While this is annoying it wasn't a huge deal to me. As a test I had 2x 1/3 full identical (except color) triple flame lighters. I made sure the flame was the identical height on both. I then emptied them and filled 1 with Lotus Premium, and the other with Xikar to the same level in each. I waited about 39 minutes and lit both if them. The one with Xikar had a noticinly stronger flame.The only bad thing is how ridiculous the price is on Amazon. Today I put in my car a can for $19, I had a few things to order so waited awhile in the day. Suddenly I had an item missing at is was this. The price jumped almost $7. I looked around and got 2 cans for $1.68 more and could have gotten 4 cans $6 cheaper than 2. Plus they will get here faster.

I forgot to turn the flame level down prior to filling my Dupont Ligne 2 slim, and when I opened the lid butane came spraying out. Never had that happen before. Turned the level WAY down and have a perfect little flame like I haven't seen from this lighter (only used gas station butane prior to this...)

As a cigar smoker, I use torch lighters that use a lot of butane. I have used most of the name brands and some generics and Xikar's high performance is the best I've ever used.

Easy to fill lighter, good directions on can. Works great, strong flame. My only comment to merchant is the packaging was fine, except there was clear tape over the customer's name & address that for whatever reason then made the inking go almost transparent. So much, in fact, I was surprised the post ofc carrier could read it at all...but they did! Experiment with a different tape.. Shipment was prompt. Thanks!

love there fluid it can make a bad lighter a good lighter and no nasty tast from the flame
