Buy extra, you will always want one on hand.
Works great has good sting, when done right you hear a crack and can break capillaries for good BDSM play.You can even brace it for new impact play.

Better than the less expensive models.
Well constructed and quality materials. Does not tangle. Used all summer every day and still like new. Wrapped neon tape on handle to find easier on trail when dropped.

On the plus side, I like that the handle feels like a riding crop instead of a big bamboo stick like other "swishers" I have used. On the minus side, I agree with another reviewer that the wrist strap comes loose. Also, many of the tail hairs have come out with relatively little pulling or tugging - it seems they aren't attached as well as they should be for the price. Bottom line - too much $$ for what I got -- if it had cost $35-40 I'd feel it was more worth the $$.
