Whenever I receive a facial serum that is on the affordable side, such as this one, I never know what I'm going to end up with. A lot of them are thin and only offer minimal results. Occasionally, I end up with one that I find to be much better than its price would lead you to believe. This is such a serum.It's a typical clear serum in a dropper bottle, except that it's actually thicker than most of the others. That includes many that are priced much higher. The bottle is nice too and the dropper is one of those good ones that is easy to use and control.The serum spreads across the face easily. Absorbs well, though will take a few minutes to fully set. Once it sets, it does not leave the skin feeling oily or greasy.This will make your skin more supple and elastic. Diminishes fine lines and softens some of the deeper set ones. Moisturizes the skin without making it feel all moist and dewy, though you will need to give it several minutes to set.Works great with other skincare products. Does not cause my mature combination skin and problems at all. Though they say there is ginger in this, I could not smell any. In fact, I couldn't smell anything at all.Good for all skin types and is just as good for men as it is for women.

This bottle of face serum looks like something you'd see on the dressing table of a glamorous blonde from a 1930s Hollywood movie. It really is beautiful to look at. It remains to be seen how effective the serum is, and that will not reveal itself until probably half the bottle has been used up. Comparing it to other Vitamin C-based serums I have used before, it does not have any sting to it. Comparing it to formulations I have used with ginger oil, it doesn't feel or smell like there is any ginger in it. It's subtle. But, doggone it, if it doesn't work at all, the bottle gives me a pick-me-up every time I see it. It's gorgeous. I wish there was a way to remove the branding once the bottle is empty without destroying the gold glittery look of the bottle.

The packaging of this serum is absolutely stunning! I would purchase this again and again when needed. It absolutely helped reduce the breakouts that plagued me in the summer, and I noticed a slight reduction in small older marks. It also left my skin feeling soft and beautiful, and my fine lines seemed to blur while using it. Love it!!! :)

I used it for about a month. I do not see any help with acne, I do not have severe acne but I do have blemishes and did not see any changes. Skin tone still the same I do not see any skin lightening or anything like that. My one worry is about the ingredient Phenoxyethanol in it I did research and it affects hormones and fertility so if your not worried about fertility then should be ok. The smell is very neutral no harsh smells.

I was unsure whether this product would be to my liking as I'm normally pretty anti-ginger but my face seems to rather enjoy it. Of course it also has my beloved Vitamin C which I've grown to adore. Texture wise it was not bad. It didn't leave me looking like an oil slick as it soaked into my skin beautifully. As for stickiness I didn't notice any but to be fair I did follow up with my usual moisturizer and they played together nicely. The scent is not my favorite. It almost reminds me of a hospital. Sort of a clean, antiseptic smell. Not pleasant but its not overpowering either. Of course I have to mention the bottle...it's gorgeous. Even the little squishy part of the dropper is uniquely shaped.
