DIHOOL60 Amp Circuit Breaker Box, PV Solar Disconnect Switch, DC 400V DIN Rail Circuit Breaker

I have used this as a solar disconnect for a small system that produces less than 30 amps. I have used it for about 6 months and it works just fine so far.

To start this off - I was a bit worried about whether or not the product had a proper construction internally to be considered a breaker (versus some of the ones out there that have zero circuit trip capability and are literally just a switch, even though they appear to be a breaker).Thankfully this one when disassembled appears to have the full set of components that one would expect of an equivalent name brand breaker, everything looks proper and seems to be well made.The external box that houses the breaker is roomy and seems to be well made, time will tell if it will hold up to exterior conditions - The breaker itself feels solid with a good click on each movement of the breaker itself. My only complaint on sturdiness is that when tightening the screws for larger diameter wire, the body of the breaker begins to separate - They use 4 brass rods to hold the breakers together and they seem to be very flimsy so, be careful when tightening that you don't split the breaker.

I am content with this purchase. The breaker seems good, but I have not tried to pop it yet.The case is fairly nice. Mine seems like it came with the wrong screws, so the face plate is not sealed to the body. I snapped off the head of one screw while attempting to tighten it and stripped another. I will swap them for the appropriate size of plastite screw after I measure the needed size and order replacements. I'm thinking #6-1/2".

Wanted a fused solar panel on/off switch on my converted RV. I don't typically shut them off but when working on anything below the controller or above, I like the panels off. Super easy to install and wire connection is secure.Wish I would have used these 10 years ago.6 Stars.Richard

I have 206 volts going through this thing. It’s temporarily living under a 5 gallon bucket I have placed on it. Eventually I’ll have my solar panels where I want and then I’ll properly mount this to the house.For now, it’s a PVC pipe mounted mess. Haha

Used one for my Ford ST Edge 1500 watt inverter and one for a commercial dishwasher at church.

Had to destroy the box to remove it. The screws that come with it are garbage and the heads break before the lid seats on the base. Then you’re left with broken screws in the base that prevent you from securing the cover. Absolute garbage and I hate that I have to order a second one because that’s all that’s available without paying twice the price for different components

Cannot beat this little kit for the money and easy to install

Instructions are mainly in Chinese but the product is very well built and seems like it will be durable and water proof.I'm using them as cut off switches for my solar panels on my boat.

Overall a good product. The plastic enclosure could use some redesign but for the price, not bad at all.
