Good read
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. It had good pacing and an interesting plot.Pros:I like the author's writing style. It was funny and enjoyable to read.I liked the dialogue. So often do I read books where the author will create a character one way but then the dialogue the character uses doesn’t match their personality type. For example, writing a don who speaks like a teenaged frat boy--gag! The characters in this book read well and I liked that.I liked the pacing of the book. It takes a while for the two characters to get together and that made sense seeing as the FMC was the MMC's son's ex-girlfriend.I like the idea of a woman coming into her own sexual awakening and enjoying her own kinks without the threat of shame. Seeing Charlie grow into her character's arc was nice to watch/read.I loved Emerson as a love interest. He's stern. Dominant. Confident. Everything the author tried to portray about him, I got. Very impressed.I felt genuinely entertained while reading this book, and it's been a while since a book has made me feel this good and enthralled while reading it. It was like watching my favorite movie.I'll give the spice a 3.5/5 🌶🌶🌶. The spice is really good and not cliche. There aren’t many scenes, which I like because it forces me to focus on the story. The only reason why I don't score it higher is because I have read much smuttier books BUT this has just the right amount.Cons:I don't like the author using miscommunication as a means to create distance between the FMC and MMC. It gets annoying, BUT it doesn't take away from the story too much. It's just my hang up.The narration can get a little repetitive sometimes. I got it. He's your ex's dad and he's older. That's the entire premise of the story. I promise you I didn't forget. However, the constant mention of it made me feel like it WAS wrong when I thought the author was trying to sell me on why it's actually right. It was odd how quickly Beau changed. I thought the author was writing him one way only for him to turn out completely different. How'd he go from being an absolute jerk to a downright decent ex-boyfriend? Beau's scenes completely threw me off.In discussing the sister so much, I think I would have liked a little more back story on her OR to see her character written a bit more well-roundedly. Come to think of it, I would have liked more back story on both sisters. Like, why exactly was Charlie so insecure?? That seemed a bit glossed over. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the sister dynamic. For as much as they talked about the dad, I though I'd get quite a bit more scenes with him in it.The ending seemed a tad bit rushed to me.Overall, I think I loved this book. I didn't feel the need to skim through any of the pages (well except for some of the cheesey parts in the end) and I looked forward to every chapter. The book isn't heavy on BDSM, which I think is the point. Ememrson never portrayed himself to be the typical hardcore Dom so it's strange why so many reviews castigate his character for not being conveyed as such.I 100% recommend this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

A solid read with some spice thrown in!
Sometimes this dom\sub genre can be formulaic and predictable! Not in this story! Loved the story line, the depth of the characters, the pacing, and the spicy bits. I love that curiosity drove exploration and it didn't just come from a Dom POV. The set up for additional books was subtle and the build up of secondary characters was smooth. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next book in the series.

WOW!
I would give this book 10 stars if I could!! This was a book I couldn’t put down!! It is 5 am and I read it in one sitting!! Do I go to bed or start “Eyes on me”? One of the best age gap romances I’ve read. Sara does an amazing job with keeping the reader interested with details. Hot and spicy, loaded with true emotion. Loved this book!

Ive read better books that hooked me and had me the whole time. But this book was good. I got thru it and the story was kinky i just wish it wasn’t so worried about the son finding out or how he would feel. I hope eyes on me is better.

3.5/5 stars
The writing is solid, and the characters are surprisingly believable. It just fits too well into the cookie cutter aesthetic of spicy romance books for me to be blown away. This book is for you if you like:-Private clubs-Large age gap-Accidental romance-Dom/sub relationship-LGBTQIA affirming-Supportive partners-Emotional maturityI really did enjoy myself, it just didn't knock it out of the park for me, and I was left feeling like it could have been more. Might read more in the series eventually.

Loved the plot, the spice and all the things nice about this book
Oh boy, the things this book had me feeling, this was a wild and spicy ride, the first time I gave a "ex's dad" book a chance and boy was it good.So first we have a girl who lacks some self love and has been in a relationship where her feelings had been completely ignored and for that she sees herself even less as worthy. But then she finally breaks up with her boyfriend and by picking up a deposit check... meets her exs dadFrom them on the story just gets into a nice rhythm as the characters get to know eachother as individuals and as the tension explodes, as loversI enjoyed this book a lot and now I can't wait to read the rest of the books for this series

Yes, Sir.
Charlie came from a terrible mental place after his abusive father and sh!t boyfriend. She knocked at Emerson’s door just to pick the money from the apartment’s deposit. But there she found so SO much more. This book was life-changing for me and introduced me to MY praise kink.Emerson is Beau’s dad, 25yo older, owns a sex club and he’s a Dom. He sees right through Charlie’s soul, all her potential as a sub. It was sweet to read Charlotte discovering her likes and finding her value. And Emerson will always be the daddy of my dreams. No one beats him EVER.This book is the first of Salacious Players Club series, and I highly recommend you to dive in this series!
