How to Start a Home-based Etsy Business (Home-Based Business Series)

As a new Etsy shop owner who is enthralled with the possibilities that Etsy has to offer, I have been doing extensive research and have read close to a dozen books on the topic. Of all these books, the one that I'm sharing as a recommended resource to our author community is Gina Luker's How to Start a Home-Based Etsy Business.This book is so well written and so inviting, it draws the reader in and addresses the essentials and way beyond. Many ideas have been sparked and I feel equipped to run an effective and efficient Etsy shop. The layout is beautiful and this is one of those books you just want to dive into. I havent put this book down since I received it.. im obsessed. The information is amazing and on point. I am incredibly glad I purchased this book. I have my own makeup line and am going to be starting it up soon on etsy and someother online sites, and cant believe how much I have learned from this book. Gina Luker takes from her experiences and writes with a somewhat mentory tone. While reading you actually feel like you could be in a classroom learning from her. I cant believe how much ive learned and how easy Gina makes it to understand Etsy and selling your goods online. Most Etsy seller or guidebooks focus on one type of seller, where Gina focuses on 3, Vintage Homemade and Supply. This book is perfect for anyone wishing to know more about how to sell on Etsy, how to maximize your sales, how to bring more views to your store. This book is also perfect for anyone who wants to start a store and even people who already have stores. I will recommend this book to everyone I know.

As a reader of Gina's blog, I couldn't wait to get her book. It's a great resource for anyone wanting to start an Etsy business as well as someone who has a shop already. Having been on Etsy for 3 years I still learned from this helpful book. Well worth the money!I also recommend Gina's blog. It is full of inspiration of all types for all areas of your life. Unlike some blogs, you never feel like you and your home aren't good enough. She has so many ideas and ways to create the home you want, to reflect your life and ways to do it on a budget. It is a must read for me.

Great read. Especially if just starting out on Etsy. Filled with a ton of helpful information and how to. However, wish there was more practical examples included.

Several months ago, I decided to open a shop on Etsy but I was quite overwhelmed by all the information out there. I really wanted to learn everything in one complete book. As an avid diy blog follower, I was familiar with Gina Luker and just happened to read about her new book so I bought it. I didn't read anything else and it was everything I needed to know.
