My Barnwood Frames - Homestead Reclaimed Barn Wood 8x10" Picture Frame (2 Inch Wide Frame)

Treebeard the Ent tends to get upset when his friends, the trees, are cut down without good reason. So for this artwork, I knew I had to choose the frame carefully. I was hoping for something rustic, wooden, and eco-friendly. It's also important in my opinion to have a real glass front. Plastic imitations never look as good and can warp over time. I felt like my demanding wish list would never be met until I found the frames sold by My Barnwood Frames. I was still a little nervous when ordering from them. It can be hard to judge the quality from photos alone. I know some reviews complained about gouges in the wood or potential splinters. That actually helped me pull the trigger. I didn’t want a generic frame that looked like it came out of some Chinese factory. I’m fine with natural scratches, knots in the wood, and so forth. To me, those details are part of the charm. When the frame arrived on my doorstep, I couldn’t have been more pleased. The quality and craftsmanship is top-notch! I shopped around before choosing this frame, and saw plenty for sale at the same price or higher, so to me this purchase was an absolute bargain. I now have a frame that is unique and sure to be eye-catching. Don’t tell anyone, but I might like it more than the art itself. So in my opinion, you can’t go wrong with this company. I honestly hope I find more art suited to this style so I can purchase more from them.

We ordered 2 and were surprised that each had distinct characteristics. These are really made of old barn wood, each one is slightly different. Wonderful quality.

I have a landscape photo I took years ago that I originally framed in a barn wood frame. Unfortunately, it fell off the wall, and the original frame broke. I really liked the rustic look of the barn wood frame, so I went looking for another to replace it. This frame is a bit wider than the original, which simply enhances the impact, in my opinion. My photo is now hanging on the wall in this beautiful frame made from re-purposed wood, and it looks really nice.

lighter than the photo, light gray, almost white, but I still like it. Little pricey for what you get but for me I'd rather pay a little more for something made in the USA .

Love my barn wood frames! I grew up on a farm and would have loved to have my old barns’ weathered wood; but I am no carpenter! So I paid someone else to have the same thing! Great pieces; lovely for that farmhouse look. ❤️
