Update: See my original 1-star review below. The seller contacted me to offer a refund and a replacement product. I accepted the offer, and received a new bottle within a week. I am impressed by their great customer service. The new bottle of Hyper-Lyte makes water feel and taste milky, which is a little strange but acceptable. I prefer the salty, tart flavor of Lyteshow, but I like that Hyper-Lyte is cheaper. I have not used the product long enough to know if it is effective at replenishing electrolytes.Previous: I tried Hyper-Lyte because it was cheaper than Lyteshow and flyby, and with similar concentrations. My previous experience tells me it should taste slightly tart or sour, which I normally find pleasant, but Hyper-Lyte made my water taste like wet cardboard and plastic....a red flag for sure! I'm not even sure if it works because it tastes so bad, BUT the salts used for electrolytes SHOULD NOT TASTE LIKE THIS. I'm not sure what the issue is, but I do not recommend this product. I won't buy again.

I really liked this product! It gave my water a distinct “milky” flavor for lack of a better description. This made me feel fuller after drinking it. It didn’t taste different, it still tasted like water, don’t get me wrong. I could just tell it had something in it. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I feel it’s a little too expensive. $15 a bottle and it lasted about 3 weeks or less for me. I went through 2 bottles in a months time and I can’t justify that kind of spending on a water enhancer. Loved the product though! It was great to have on hand when just starting out on the keto diet.

We are doing the Keto WoE and cramp much easier than if we were doing any other way of eating, and have tried the other two “major” brands of electrolyte concentrates, and can testify that this is the best tasting of the three. That is to say that the taste is not nearly as prevalent in this concentrate as it is in any of the others that we have tried. Comparatively speaking, the price is better than most others, but I remove one star because the taste and price are not absolutely perfect.

I recently purchased HYPER-LYTE with Concentrace and Electrolyte Rehydration with Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium & Chloride . I am an active senior who enjoys tennis and outdoor activities that, unfortunately, were causing me to cramp up during strenuous exercise. I consulted my Physician regarding the cramping problems and he recommended a supplement with Magnesium to relieve the muscle cramp problem. I tried some over the counter tablets, but it was difficult to get the dosage right (too much caused diarrhea). When I started using HYPER-LYTE, I was able to get the dosage just right. I simply added drops into my water bottle, shook it up, and other than a slight salty taste, there was no added flavoring that affected the taste of my water. I have experienced no muscle cramping since using this product and was glad I found it on Amazon!

Honestly, I tried the product and I can't say I could tell if there was any difference from before I started taking it. So... I guess that kind of sums it up.

I found the taste very off-putting. I typically don't have a picky palate but this stuff tastes funky to me. The description says to 'add lemon' but that's a hassle I don't really need. The "Lyteshow" brand tastes much better to me. That said, it's probably an effective way to add electrolytes to your diet. Don't overdue it or you'll get the runs though.

The only thing I don’t like about this product is it tastes quite salty when only put in water and overall gives whatever drink I put it in a salty taste, rather than meeting the advertised quality of being tasteless.
