My son is happy with them, what else do I want?
My mid teens son was doing up his room and wanted some.color changing smart bulbs for clamp on lights he had chosen from IKEA. Due to the base size used in those lamps we couldn't use any of the spares we had lying around. These fit the lamps perfectly and can be used with the app that he was already using for his other bulbs

Connects and works
If you know a little bit of technology you’ll be able to connect them no problem. You might have to be a little more savvy to trouble shoot if needed. I need to reset one of the build that you can do by turning on for 2 seconds and off for 2 second like 4 times. Overall working great so far.

Doesn’t work with app well
This is a fine bulb, but it doesn’t fully integrate with the home app. I’d give this 5 stars if these bulbs could change color using scenes. Meaning I can make multiple bulbs a certain color with the click of a button. It can be done with other bulbs but these ones lack that capability.You can only change their color manually one at a time which is annoying for full room setups. If that was fixed I would give 5 stars.

You will be charged over $26/year to use the WIFI app!!
Maelsrlg E17 Intermediate Base Smart Bulbs:I have used other led Smart colored bulbs and never been charged for the app. These instructions told me to get the free app, then when I went to activate it, it said I had to pay $26+ to USE the app EVERY YEAR! It doubled the cost of the bulbs the first year, and now I would pay as much as the bulbs cost just to use them, EVERY YEAR! There is nothing written about this in the website. I I would never have bought the bulbs knowing about this extra charge. No other bulb company charges AT ALL to use their own free app. And I can't even get the app to work with the Alexa app., SO I HAVE TO ACTIVATE THE LIGHTS THROUGH MY PHONE. The cost is so outrageous no one can justify using these bulbs. What a ridiculous ripoff!Now I am trying to return the product and the site doesn't give me an option to return it. It just gives me instructions on how I can fix the installation, which doesn't solve the problem. Don't buy these or you will never get your money back. These guys are a total rip off.

Unreliable
I took a chance on these and it didn’t pay off! These bulbs become “unresponsive” often. The last time I lost connection to them I was unable to add them to my home network. I’ve deleted them from all connected apps and still cannot get 2 of them to function. I’m going back to Philips brand for their reliability.

Took a while for me to find these but it was worth the search! Easy to connect and stay connected.

Features of the app are great. I set an alarm for it to wake me up since my sunrise alarm clock wasn’t bright enough
