Morton's Extension Orthotic insoles are crafted from real carbon fiber, providing a very rigid support system designed to alleviate foot pain associated with conditions like Morton’s Toe and Hallux Rigidus. Sold as a pair, these insoles feature a precise fit based on shoe size, ensuring optimal stability and comfort for both men and women during sports and daily activities.

relieves big toe joint pain
Stiffened shoes below the big toe joint which relieves the pain from RA. Wear in trail runners (see photo) and sneakers. Don't work well for me w slip-ons since the stiffness pulls the heel off as I walk. Does impact shoe fit/volume if insoles are not flat, so bring with you to try on shoes. After telling my friend, he bought these too for his big toe pain.

Fantastic!!!! Amazing for Hallux Rigidus/Limitus. Highly Recommend.
Ordered these after wearing custom orthotics ($$$$$) for a few years which were designed and digitally measured and built to address my Hallux Limitus/Rigidus in left big toe. My toe was really hurting and seemed to be getting progressively worse by wearing my custom orthotics. I took a chance on the very rigid Mortons Extension orthotic sole and let me tell you what a difference it has made. The full-length support combined with the super rigidness has amazingly reduced the pain in my big toe and for a fraction of the cost of a custom orthotic. As a golfer, I can once again walk 18 holes without pain and the pain in my toe overall has decreased by at least 80%. The Mortons Extension orthotic is very thin and will fit most shoes. The one exception is any shoe that has a high natural arch in the sole. For example, my cycling shoes have a very high built in arch and as a result the orthotic will not rest flat in the shoe and can't be used, but other than my cycling shoes, these are fantastic and work with all of my other shoes. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking to limit the bend in their shoe and consequently minimize the stress on their big toe. In terms of sizing, I measured the length of the removable insoles in a few of my shoes and ordered a pair that was about 1/2 inch shorter. From my perspective, I figured for a minimal investment it was worth giving it a shot and I am very happy that I did.

Disappointing plastic
I’ve been using carbon fiber inserts made by an orthotic store for the last few years, as needed. The product description of this appeared to be the same as what I own, so I chose to purchase for the ease of not needing to swap my inserts from one pair of shoes to another. Aside of being shaped similarly, these are nothing like my current pair. They are far smaller than their listed size. More worrisome is the fact that they appear to be rigid plastic, not carbon.I don’t expect they’ll perform for long or well in comparison to the real McCoy. $20 would be a more appropriate price for the materials used.Amendment: I was politely contacted by the seller after my review was published. Seller 100% stands behind their product, and offered a refund or replacement. I’m impressed by the passion the seller has for customer service, and wanted to be sure to publicly commend their actions. The product may not be to my liking, yet it’s hard to complain with such immediate and stellar customer service. I have added three stars to my review to reflect my appreciation.

Takes away pain
Does what intended to do. Fit better in some shoes than others. Makes one pair squeak. Lol.

Know your size
I like having support for my toe and these orthotics fit the bill. I had to return my first pair because they were too large for my running shoes. I used the measuring guide and contacted the company but still too large. Went one size down and they fit perfectly. I gave them 4 stars because the footbed of the orthotic could be more contoured to fit my foot. The other option would be a custom fit.

Allows for pain free running in soccer cleats
These inserts allow me to practice and play for hours while limiting impact of arthritic toe pain, recommend to anyone struggling with mild turf toe or arthritis. Shape of insert sits well under insoles and doesn’t move or require additional inserts

Perhaps Not Useful for Most
I needed to stiffen the soles of my shoes. These are very stiff and very thin, so I thought they would be ideal. I did not realize that, even when I remove the insoles for my shoes, the surface of the midsole is not flat. Even though these are very thin, they're so stiff that they sit on top of the highest points of the midsoles, leaving an air gap beneath them. They effectively decrease the depth of the shoe so much that, with the same socks and insoles, there's not enough room for your foot. Best chance of success would be to go with thinner socks and thinner insoles, but the problem certainly limits the product's usefulness.
