The order arrived on the date expected (it was going to arrive a day earlier but that was interrupted by a holiday). A bit disappointed because the site said the hose was rubber; it turned out that it was a "hybrid" meaning there were other components besides rubber. I had purchased rubber hoses before by Goodyear that were definitely sturdier and of only rubber. The hose comes tightly wound so there were plenty of kinks until the hose was stretched out although in use it did kink tightly, unlike the heavier rugbber, which meant going back and undoing the kinks so water could flow. It wasn't cheap ($80) but less than a real rubber hose.

Have yet to see an absolute kink-free hose, but this one comes close. Looks strong and durable, and it's easy to handle.

At first I rated it 3 stars because of kinks. But the more I’ve used it the kinks aren’t a bad issue. When unrolling and dragging it across the yard if it kinks, I pop the hose and the link releases.

They are fairly light weight and flexible. Don’t kink too bad but can kink. We have them stationary to extend hoss from our spigot. Bought two more longer ones liked them so much.

This hose is 100% LEAK FREE and that is such a treat after buying and returning two other hoses of a different brand that started leaking in less than a few weeks. This hose is a keeper!
